Rutherford says a Kulemin signing is now unlikely. He doesn't think Pens need a top-6 winger at this point.

lol I just realized that these signings today for Buffalo make the Vanek trade saga even more hilarious.
Minnesota traded Torrey Mitchell and a 2nd round pick in exchange for Matt Moulson and.... Cody McCormick.
So Buffalo lost Vanek and gained Moulson, Mitchell, a first round pick, and two second round picks.
Wouldn't be surprised if they try to move Mitchell for something else either, since he barely played before getting injured and Buffalo's bottom 6 is pretty crowded.

nah, West has depth, East is stars and scrubs.
We do still have Tavares, Crosby, Ovechkin, Kessel, Bergeron, Giroux, etc.
That and we have wayyyyyyyyy better goalies in the east too.
Even the crappy teams have good goalies.
Main difference in east vs west is east has more toughness in bottom 6 and defense tends to be less mobile more stay at home
