Couture isn't going anywhere. It's his team now, and they wouldn't get equal value for him. He's already so good. Pavelski is probably the one on the move, they could bring in a kings ransom for him.
I think an important thing here is deciding what Hertl's role on this team is. He's a natural center but also great as a winger, if they do want to move him to center then he takes Pavs' role on the third. And Pavs doesn't actually work all that well as a permanent winger. We need defenseman and Pavs could probably pull a great return on a young dman and a top six winger for Jumbo.
I didn't realize he was the old already, now is definitely the optimal time to move him. His value isn't going to be any higher than it is now, and he could definitely bring in a young stud in a trade.
