I just realized, while trying to think of stuff, that San Francisco is kind of boring.
The area in the park with all the museums is worthwhile.

Tried the Splatoon testfire demo over the weekend. Stopped when I got spawn-camped by someone. I had the roller so he could just stand far away and shoot me.
Went back to Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. The music and environments are amazing.

Oakland is the home of the Oakland Raiders and it's fans, that in itself should be enough for everyone to stay the fuck away from it.Would Oakland be considered more exciting then?
So I just went looking at face value ticket prices for the Islanders at Barclays (more specifically for Islanders vs. Rangers) and WHAT THE FUCK are these prices?
These aren't even the resale prices. These are just the regular ass box office price.
THIS is the cheapest seat in the building (by a significant margin, I might add):
What a view.

I wonder if the Isles ownership will get cold feet when they realize that end of the arena is empty every game.
To be fair, a random game against the Hurricanes in late October is exactly $100 less for that same seat, so it might just be some premium Ranger fan gouging going on.
Still, it just goes to show that the Barclays arrangement is simply not going to work. AT ALL.
Are you implying that this may not, in fact, be an optimal set up for spectator hockey?
