Reports have Wild GM Chuck Fletcher in California this week to meet with Boudreau and veteran bench boss Randy Carlyle.

Look for Carlyle, who won a Stanley Cup with Flames president Brian Burke during their Anaheim days, to also get an interview in Calgary.

Carlyle has also taken an interview in Ottawa and there continues to be noise about a possible reunion with the Ducks.

Randy is making a comeback.

Do you guys have any recommendations on items to have in a car? I've been driving for a while now, but I've never really owned a car until recently.

Only thing I have in there is a bag full of car emergency stuff, a car jack, spare tire, and an ice scraper + snow brush. I have a car charger, phone cradle, and an aux cable for in-car entertainment.

I was thinking of picking up stuff like folding baskets and some towels to put in my trunk. I was also thinking of getting a dog hammock for my back seat, to protect my seats from dog hair, and to keep my dog from falling off the seat, but this might be excessive.

I would get a K&N air filter and replace the OEM one. Its cheap replacement, Any one can do it and it doesn't mess up your warrenty.
Reason to do it is it improves the car's mpg, could increase a bit of horsepower depending on your car or improves throatle response time and depending on the vehicle, it makes it sound a lot better. Best $60 I have spent on my car and probably made that money back by the amount of gas I saved (10%-15% mpg improvement)

We have a dog cover for our back seat and it's absolutely essential in preventing those seats from ending up covered in pug hair. He also has a harness that you thread the safety belt thru to keep him secure.

I ran through each seat with Turtle Wax Upholstery Cleaner, which got rid of that stain I mentioned, but I think the seats need more detailed work.
