That's a you problem obviously. There are lots of games to keep you busy till Switch 2.

It'll come at some point. The more you're waiting for it, the worse the waiting will be.

I don't disagree, but something tells me this is not only a product, but a great collectors item. So there are plenty of Nintendo fans that will own this alarm clock. Take into consideration there is most likely an app with it to change themes and such.

It's all done with Wi-fi. At least the time should always be correct and no worries about DST. I think it would be too much to assume that every kid has a phone. Still, it has sleep tracking, and motion detection. Not quite the cheapo item it appears to be.
I could have sworn I saw bluetooth when it was scrolling through the menus, but I guess not. I would imagine Nintendo probably does not want someone associating Norwegian Death Metal with the characters and putting it on YouTube. LOL!!

Oh is this a product of the Nintendo QOL initiative which was announced on 2014? It's been 10 years they have finally managed their first product! It's a CLOCK!!!

I think we all need to remember that this is not for us. Although it was strange that the ad showed teens and not little kids. Remember Nintendo was a toy company before they were a video game company.

I know a grown adult that would go nuts for this. I was thinking of getting it for her as a Christmas gift.

This is kind of cool. I don't need anything like this but I sure do want it. I guess I am in for one.

Nintendo should come up with a bidet that plays Nintendo tunes while it hoses your mud hole down and gets you squeaky clean. It should also make familiar Nintendo related noises or chimes as it detects farts/poots or turds splashing.

There is a lot to like if you are a Nintendo Fan. We are just grumps on here, I guess. (Myself included). At the end of day, it's a Nintendo themed clock with some neat functionality.
Sure, it has Nintendo tax, but every company who can get away with that does it nowadays.
 
The only thing I accepted without question is the purchaser of this clock sleeps alone. The rest would have been better to release on 1st April.

Also misread the name of it as the Alamo.

If the clock is skued to really young children, the theme would probably be lost on them anyway. They may know the modern stuff though.
 
$100 for this sh*t? Sony was grilled for selling Portal for $199 ( Apologies for comparing an actual high end product to this toy)

But Nintendo can do no wrong to some.
