So, I registered my copy of MK8. Club Nintendo was moving slowly, prompting me to press submit several times, only to get a message saying my code has been registered already. I did not see the survey pop up at all.
Is this normal?

1. Have to have a deluxe Wii U
2. Go to ddp.nintendo.com
3. Log in using your NNID and anything digital should appear there. I just registered wind waker and it hasn't shown up on my DDP yet, so probably have to wait a little while.

Yay! Spent hours off and on last night trying to get my free Pikmin 3. Ended up waking up on accident at 4 AM and my order went through and I got my game code. It was kind of scary how many different error messages I ended up getting up to that point. Thought my game got lost, but in the end it worked out alright. 50% done and it's been going since 4 AM. Can't wait to try out the stylus mode!

I never got the survey either, but when checking my to do list this morning it showed that I needed to select my free game.

Log out, log back in. If you can't see how many coins your account currently has, then log out again and repeat til you're logged in and can see your proper coin balance. Then redeem.
yeh it took 24 hours for my WW to show up on the DDP, don't worry it'll be there soon! 420 pts btw.
Pretty annoyed the Club Nintendo site is still so unstable. I've been logging in sporadically since yesterday just to see if things have settled out before I redeem. It goes between not working at all to logging me in but with none of my account-specific info visible.

That said, it's only been a day since MK8's release, and a little bit of a delay isn't too bad. More surprised that I'm downloading at almost 2MB/s from eShop with how slow it's been othertimes (and I still can't get above 500KB on PS3/vita on PSN

Yeah, I tried to redeem my stuff last night as well. I got a ton of error messages, and it looks like it erased my Platinum progress. I was 20 coins away, but now it says that I've made zero progress to even Gold.
If this doesn't get fixed, I'll be ticked.

There was 1400MB left on WW and 12 minutes left to go. 12 * 60 = 720. 1400 / 720 = 1.94~MB/s
Rough estimate, but it looked about right as I was watching the numbers tick.

It'll get fixed. I had a similar problem yesterday and just noticed my coin count is back to normal and I was able to download my free copy of New Super Mario Bros. U this morning (traded in my physical copy for 3x the trade in value at Target a couple weeks ago).
This is the exact situation I'm trying to avoid. I'm not sure I have, because the site is such a mess. This wasn't exactly at peak traffic hours, either.

Got MH3U on the download. It's a series I've been intrigued with but never took the jump on.
Really considered going for WW:HD, but I just feel the novelty of a HD re-release of a game I've already completed 10 times wouldn't really last.
It's a shame DKC:TF isn't part of the promotion. I'd have jumped on that in a heartbeat.
I'm seriously envious of everyone who will have the opportunity to now try The Wonderful 101 or Pikmin 3 for the first time. Seriously, if anybody is on the fence, your priority should be:

The site is experiencing major down time lately. I got the "already redeemed" message at least 5 times. I tried again this morning and my account was back to normal so I was able to finally download it properly. The code isn't sent to your inbox btw, it should show up in the browser instead.

I received the same thing multiple times yesterday when I tried to redeem the game. As for the survey, I think it'll let you take it if you go to the To-Do area.
I never redeemed this. How likely is it that I'll get a CN email with the code if this came up on my first time to the page?

Buying Mario Kart 8 digitally has turned out to be a fantastic deal for me.
I had about $60 eshop credit from tradeins that covered most of the game before tax. I then received my digital copy of Wind Waker which is a $49.99 retail game.
On top of that, I ended up with $15 credit through the DDP program (I had some points from small purchases before) that I can now use towards Smash 3DS.
I spent $60 on a game and ended up with $65 of extra value. I am extremely pleased.
However, before I decided to go digital I had ordered a retail copy of MK8 through Future Shop's E3 preorder program so I now have in my possession a physical copy of the game. I was planning on just returning it but now I'm considering using it towards getting another free game. The physical copy only cost me $45 with taxes so I could just return it to get that back or use it towards a game that actually would cost me more if I were to buy it digitally. Not only that, I will also end up with another $5 in credit through the DDP program. Then I can trade in the physical copy for about $30 in trade credit. I pretty much come out on top in that scenario.

I believe it was under two gigs.
The initial registration survey is showing up in the "to-do" area, which is good (though it had always errored out while I tried to register it). That part I'm less worried about. It's acting like the promo game was already redeemed though, which is what's making me uneasy. It's also not showing up on the "orders" page, which lets me see previous game codes I've been sent.

That will change as I'm planning to book some holidays and plough through my gaming catalogue. Mk8 reminded me why I love nintendo so much and wish they get support from gamers so that they can carry on brining us amazing games.
I'm going to place it next to my Xbox one, and I'm going to put off buying ps4 for a year or two instead and o,ay through the wii u catalogue.
Seeing mk8 in hd blew my mind, although battle mode needed courses not tracks :'(

Yeah, it seems like the "Already Redeemed" message appears when CN doesn't load correctly...a sign of this is the coins, that don't show. I'm still trying to get it to work though

Guys how good is Wii Party U? I can't decide between Wind Waker and Party U as I already own Mario and Pikmin 3. I would like to get Party U for the free Wii Mote plus... but I would also like to have Wind Waker in physical form. Please help me decide...

You're going to want to play the first two byt the time you finish which are both spectacular games. Also arguably harder.
Gonna register my game in July, I have too many coins right now(already platinum member).
