Do the digital & disc versions count as separate for this offer (and thus I can register both in the same Club Nintendo account) or do I have to register them on different Club Nintendo accounts?
You have to redeem the Club Nintendo PIN by 31st of July. And I believe the DL code for the game lasts until the end of August.

NA here, still got that Pikmin 3 code, and still trying to trade it for an NSMBU code.
Tried asking a lot of people on the internet of they wanted to trade or something, no such luck so far.

I own all of these physically. Ugh. Which one has the highest trade in value in the US?
For UK GAF, CEX are still giving £29 cash for MK8. So if you can buy it from somewhere that's selling it for £40 you can get any of the digital games for £11. Zavvi have MK8 for £35 but it says "Stock will be despatched to you as soon as we receive it from our supplier." on the sight.

Hey guys, wondering if I could get some help.
I purchased a wii u delux mario kart 8 edition and linked my ID and my console, as well as my club ID to the nintendo ID. However, when I enter my serial number into the box on the club nintendo website, it just says "thanks for purchasing a wii u" and then tells me to link my club ID to my nintendo ID... I already did. Am I missing something?
I apologize if its been stated, Im extremly short on time at this very second and just wondering if I could get some quick help. Thanks so much.

Can I buy the digital version of MK8 from the US eShop from the UK just using a UK credit card? I'd also like to grab Wind Waker HD in the current E3 sale.
Decided I'm picking up a Wii U in the next couple of days and would rather go all digital. So I'm looking at getting a refurbished standalone console and wanting to register my new Nintendo account as US based to buy from the US store.

Sell the code, buy something else with the money.
After reading about, seems I can't use the US eShop on a UK console anyway due to region locking. Bah.
So looks like I'm looking into a US/Canadian Wii U then. If only I could find a way to import one of those refurbished consoles that are $200 direct from Nintendo US.

Almost done with the promo*. Does anyone know if starting the download is enough to claim the key and make the Club Nintendo link happen? I've not got the NAND space for my remaining 2 (maybe 3) games so my workaround is to get one, start download then cancel until done.
*-Though I'm probably going to wait a few weeks to register the remaining ones as I'm in no rush to play and the deadline is over a month away.
Ask in the US Club Nintendo thread if any free software gives surveys (that is a good way to test the link working, these tend to be 5 coins so no big loss either). Otherwise you could go onto the eShop and unlink the Club Nintendo account and then re-link it.

Bought MK 8 because of this (+Target) deal. First Mario Kart I have owned. Will get Pikmin 3 for my free game. $46 for MK8 + Pikmin is amazing value.

It'll work. Just be sure to redeem your code by July 31st, the download will be good until September 30th, 2014.
Check the banners in your Club Nintendo account.

The code from the eShop, register it like any other product. It should be a 0 stars copy of Mario Kart 8 (it might be 250 stars if you've not already done the survey from the eShop download*). After that the banner should appear on the main page.
*-My account > my registered products > claim stars for this download

Buy at retail, register at Club Nintendo, pick your free game. Code shouldn't expire. Setup a family account and buy four copies with the Target deal and trade three of them in. You'll have five games ready to go when you get your system.

downloaded my free game last night. I decided on Wonderful 101 (over half the other games I either own or have completed). for a 10gb download I was expecting it to take forever from Nintendo's servers but downloaded in a couple of hours (in sleep mode).
had a quick go but wont play it properly till later in the year as got a few unfinished games I want to get completed first.

Yes. As long as your system is linked. Digital and physical are different products.
I still haven't received credit for my free game. I bought MK8 a week ago on the EU eshop, got my free game code and downloaded it. Do I need to launch the game first or did something go wrong?
You might need to launch it. I'm in US but I definitely got credit for mine.

1) I don't think it auto-registers hardware. I could be wrong though since I'm not sure how club Nintendo is in other countries.
2 )If you have a Wii u deluxe linked to that account, you are good.
