Prepare for 10 minutes achievement talk, 10 minutes fire emblem warriors, 10 minutes xenoblade, 10 minutes amiibos and 5 minutes of mario odyssey. Scrath that, only 5 minutes Amiibos but 5 minutes Skyrim (with amiibo functionality talk.)

There is too much content to show...no game will get 10 minutes.

LMAO. Truth.

Said it in the other thread, but yeah! Xenoblade goodness, I'll try to avoid Mario footage since it's so close, and I'd love another Wii U Deluxe type game. The Donkey Kong games would be insane!

I feel like we will get some USUM info. I mean they mention 3DS games and i know Metroid is what this week? Pokemon is the last big 3DS game this year so it would not shock me to see something.

As for Smash, I took them not announcing it at e3 to mean that they are doing more than just a simple port, and that we wont see it until 2018+ but...hypothetically...if it was a deluxe port they could still announce it now for spring 2018

I think it's going to be built heavily on SSB for Wii U but has enough new/changed content that it basically is a sequel.

I predict a surprise release for Thimbleweed Park on Switch eShop. Thimbleweed Park's twitter account still swears it's coming out in sept, and that their will be news soon

A boy can dream can't he!

We should see final release dates for Fall games that we know about. Possible Stardew Valley update, and Fifa demo. Probably an update on skyrim on top of release date. Kirby 3ds, Pokemon ultra info, Rocket League release date.

Probably some third party ports announced for Switch.

Just as a side note to any who missed it, the upcoming Kirby 3DS game was said in April to be an "action fighting game":

Switch Virtual Console announcement pls

I wouldn't expect anything on VC until NES games with online features launch as part of the online service in early 2018.

I'm pretty sure they will and have to release their online service with Smash 5.

Unless Retro or someone else is making an online shooter.

I don't see their online service announced without Smash so it will be both or neither.

More fighting games please.
Beyond BlazBlue (we still don't know which version it is), the only fighting game I can see coming to the Switch in the near future is DBFZ. In terms of the other major fighting games that are out right now...
  • SFV is a PS4 console exclusive, so this won't ever happen (unless Nintendo slips Sony a fat check).
  • MvCI is possible, but I'm not sure if Capcom has any plans to port it at the moment. But given that 2 of Marvel's other recent games are Switch-bound (Telltale Guardians & Lego Marvel 2), I guess it's possible.
  • Tekken 7 can't even hit 1080p on the OG PS4, so I doubt that Bandai Namco will bother trying to port it to the Switch.
  • I already mentioned DBFZ as a possibility. In fact, I'd be surprised if it wasn't ported at some point (given the demand).
  • Injustice 2 is probably a big fat "maybe". If I recall, the game runs at 900p on the Xbox One, so more sacrifices would likely have to be made for the Switch version. Either way, I don't think it'd be impossible, but I'm not sure if NRS would want to bother right now.
  • BB X Tag Battle is a possibility, & I could see it being the BlazBlue game that ASW was porting. Maybe this was why ASW wasn't that specific when talking about the BB game on the Switch. Of course, it could just be Central Fiction, which I'd also be cool with if all the DLC is included (or at least purchasable).
  • Not sure about Guilty Gear. I guess it'd be possible, but I'm not sure if ASW would bother (correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't ASW announce that they're done with Xrd DLC?).

45 minutes long?! BOY!

Hoping for more XB2 and Odyssey stuff, hope we get some new reveals like Animal Crossing as well. Wasn't the mobile app supposed to launch this fall?

Excited!

Mario - new info
Pokken - final trailer
Fire Emblem Warriors - new info
Xenoblade 2 - release date
Zelda DLC - Date
1st party reveal - hopefully a new Switch game

Rocket league - release date
Skyrim - release date
LA Noire - talked about
Maybe an AAA 3rd party reveal

Plus more

45 minutes is nuts, thats pretty much what I expect the e3 direct to be (it wasn't sadly) can't remember the last time they had a direct that long.

Welp I'm excited. Real question now is... Whatever 'big' thing they have to announce will it happen at the start at the direct or the end?

So I guess Bayo 1+2 will be announced if that was what the poster was alluding to in on of the other threads when they said it would be "announced on Wed."

MHXX in NA before MHWorld's release date would get me to buy a Switch, but I'm not holding my breath.
PLEASE have a Monster Hunter XX localization announcement.
While I do think that we'll eventually see a western localization of MHXX for the Switch, I'd imagine that Capcom would want all western eyes on MHW for a bit before announcing XX's localization. Basically, my guess is that we'll see an announcement for the localization of MHXX after MHW comes out. It sucks, I know, but I could honestly see that happening.
