I had a feeling we'd get an evening Direct, but I was hoping it'd be earlier since Wednesdays are my off days and now I'll have to spend all day waiting, smh.

45/50 minutes is a lot, hoping we'll get a lot of announcements and reveals.

i am expecting Animal Crossing mobile and switch reveals, arms update date, Xenoblade release date, botw DLC infos, some info on Fire Emblem, Pokkén. And some quick reminder on Metroid 3ds.

Nintendo learned from that E3 meltdown. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

lol

We should see final release dates for Fall games that we know about. Possible Stardew Valley update, and Fifa demo. Probably an update on skyrim on top of release date. Kirby 3ds, Pokemon ultra info, Rocket League release date.

Probably some third party ports announced for Switch.

Will they talk about:

1) Nintendo online and voice chat updates?

2.) a western 3rd party shooter port for this holiday?

My highlights prediction for Switch:

Long overview for SMO.
Release date and long overview for Xenoblade 2
Release date for the final Zelda DLC
Release date for Skyrim
Announcement for Fallout 4, maybe even a release date
Announcement for non-gaming apps
Long presentation for the new online subscription and the included games library
New game announced for February 2018

My highlights prediction for 3ds:

Is still alive, please buy it.

I hope this Direct is "Ultra" interesting! Do you get what I mean? Do you follow? I'm talking about Pokémon.

Wouldn't they just have a standalone Pokemon Direct for that? I mean, that's how they've done things for the mainline games anyways.

Oh, nevermind. Joe just tweeted about last year's Alolan form reveals, so yeah, I guess we can expect Pokemon. That's gonna be good...

So Soraya Saga retweeted. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 confirmed.

Sweetness. I do plan to pick up Xenoblade 2 sooner or later as the scope of the games Monolithsoft aims for is commendable.
Always like that these directs are announced just a day or two before the stream.

If you're thinking that Smash Bros. is getting announce anytime before Summer 2018...you're nuts.

They're not going to front load the Switch. They should hold off on even mentioning that game until next year.

Yeah I think Smash (maybe FE too) would be headlining a winter Direct that blows out their plans for next year. Summer is way too late for an announcement though. January or December and then release in summer at the earliest or October/November at latest.

I've gone back on US/UM because they timing matches up. I don't know if they'll show Kirby Switch as the 3DS title is supposed to be releasing soon. They may hold it back until a direct in the winter. Also, Yoshi seems further along than Kirby since they showed a playable demo for it during the E3 treehouse.

So my first What I want/expect to see on GAF:

. Mario Odyssey of course, watched the 2 main trailers too many times already lol.
. First looks at either Prime 4 or the new Fire Emblem game, preferably Fire Emblem with signs it looking good for 2018.
. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 release date. In 2017, but I'm not gonna cry about a delay because Ni No Kuni 2 is out in January anyway.
. Release dates for Skyrim, Rocket League and Yooka Laylee, the three 3rd party games I most want to buy on the system.
. BoTW Champion's Ballad trailer + release date, probably end up buying this on Wii U lol.
. FE Warriors characters, maybe first word on the season pass which will surely happen.
. Persona 5, Ni No Kuni 2 and Monster Hunter World are announced 3rd party games I would like Switch versions of, but again whatever if nothing happens then Atlus won't get anymore money from me and I'll just get the other 2 on PS4.
. Pokémon Ultra Sun & Moon info? Please?
. Maybe 1 or 2 Wii U deluxe versions still to come. Tropical Freeze? Xenoblade Chronicles X? Bayonetta 2 or The Wonderful 101? I got them all on Wii U but I think they're great games that deserve another chance at sales.
. Info on the Yoshi and Kirby games we saw at E3. Not terribly exciting but they look good.
. And the big one for me: Retro Studio's new IP WORLD PREMIERE. EXCLUSIVE.

Would make for a great lineup IMO.

Exciting! I'm hoping we get more info on that multiplayer Kirby game and I hope it's not Air Ride 2 on 3DS.

Not holding my breath but hoping for GameCube VC too. At least some kind of VC.

So what can we reasonably expect?

- Zelda DLC 2
- Skyrim
- Xenoblade 2
- The rumoured achievement system
- Mario Odyssey
- Maybe something Rocket League?
- Hopefully not too much Fire Emblem Warriors
- SNES classic (will probably take 10 minutes or more to make a small showcase for each game.)

Did I miss something? And by something I mean reasonable. I know I missed Prime 4 and F-Zero. :P

Please announce YouTube, internet, VC, and Netflix access.

Bonus! Ports of Pikmin 3, 3D world, DKC TF, Mario Maker, Yoshi WW, Wind Waker, and Prime TrilogyHD!

I'll settle for more Rocket League info (since it's only realistic thing from my wishlist).

I'm excited just to finally get the release dates for the rest of the announced titles in 2017. So many games I plan on picking up and not sure how I'm going to have time for all of them already.

Will also be nice if we get to see what's coming in early 2018. Not expecting any new announcements, but I'd always rather be pleasantly surprised then a bit disappointed.

In for the hype, but realised I'll be unable to watch it live.

Ach, well. gives me something to look forward to later in the week. :)

So Skyrim and XC2 dates... Wonder what else will show up that wasn't already covered in the Nindie direct. Zelda and Rabbids DLC probably. Idk what else.

They'd better announce they're reissuing the Zelda 30th anniversary amiibos too. I'm still killing myself for not grabbing Ocarina Link.

More Super Mario Odyssey? Are they kidding? There's like 2 hours and 4 worlds of treehouse videos alone.

As for Smash, I took them not announcing it at e3 to mean that they are doing more than just a simple port, and that we wont see it until 2018+ but...hypothetically...if it was a deluxe port they could still announce it now for spring 2018
