Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

whats funny about what i said? There is no real anime character support yet in smash the closest is pokemon but that started as a game. As much i love Dragon ball i would hate to see Goku be in smash because he doesnt belong in smash.

Because character like Pit, Shulk, Ryu, from Fire Emblem and from The Legend of Zelda are "anime". And I don't even know the character that is on that gif, I just find not wanting "anime" on smash ridiculous because it's already full of "anime".

What's funny is that you're actually taking that Idolm@ster .gif or pleas for Goku seriously.

Again, might be true. Might not be. but they got the date already. This is the first thing I could find on it.

WHAT?!?! Sunshine HD? Now I'm excited, being that the rumor date is correct I have a little hope for this.

EDIT: That video is making a lot of HUGE claims, I dunno if all that can be true. Might be someone who just knew the direct date and is embellishing what will be shown.

Sorry but no. As has been said, that rumour claims they'll be detailing Miitomo, Nintendo's first mobile title. Nintendo has said they're not covering mobile here, just 3DS & Wii U. As such, it's not true. While some of the stuff in it is obvious and/or likely, it doesn't make it legit.

That's the key question. There are many ways they could go with this. Kimishima could host them all, especially for a global direct which tends to be the biggest of them all. Get his face out there as the new head of Nintendo.

Then again, for now he's only holding down the fort for a year or two as far a were aware. As such, they could use the same script but have all the local presidents do it. So whoever is the European guy does it for that, Reggie does it for NA, and Kimishima does it for Japan.

Who knows. They stated previously the big changes to Nintendo Directs will be coming in 2016. So I expect this one to be formatted much the same as prior directs.

ALSO: Iwata Tribute. It's probably going to happen.

I always forget the name of the co-host of the last JP Nintendo Direct... Morimoto?
He can host Japanese presentations.

i dont consider any of those anime

So to you an anime character is someone who's first apearence in media is anime (or manga, or visual novel, or light novel...) and not anime is someone who's first appearence was in a game...?
Idolmaster is originally a game, I just searched the character.

Well, they do need to advertise their holiday line-up, especially since we've been in the dark for quite a while.

I hope they announce the next Pokemon game, and MHX localization. Other than that, I'm open to surprises, although, to be honest, I don't really expect anything amazing.

ask yourself... when was the last time a 'so-called leak' for nintendo direct is 100% correct? :^)

When was the last time a nintendo leak something other than something datamined/sniffed up on an official nintendo website?

Literally the only thing I can think of within the last 10 years is the smash ESRB leak, which was huge.

no thank you keep the anime out of smash bros please.

I do not want that character in smash, but this is such an ironic phrase to use.
Theres a huge perecent (and if you consider anime basically as japenese animation, everything is) of characters in smash that are "anime".
If you are talking about typical anime tropes, the point still stands. Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus, Zelda...

no an anime game to me is about the graphical style not where it originated from Zelda has never had anime style graphics the closest would be wind waker with Cell shaded graphics but even then the two are two completely different style of graphics.

Shibata in EU.

No, you are wrong.
Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus are super anime. In art design, and tropes.
Stop trying to move goal posts for your convinience.

dude...

Just admit that not wanting anime in smash is not a valid reason to not want any character in Smash, or else you wouldn't even have liked the first one.

Mario Maker. I don't know if it counts though.

This is like the culmination of all those "lolanimeinmuhSmash4" posts that pervaded discussions in the pre-release with a small helping of the usual art criticisms used by people who can't or do not know how to criticize visual elements without ever-increasingly vague statements like "that's too anime".

Man, those aren't anime characters just because they had animation made for them after their games. If that were the case link and Mario would be too. (They have manga) They are game characters, that's the point. Originally from a video game, not originally from an anime with a successful game franchise like goku. Cmon it's not that hard.

Lolwat. Zelda has had anime style art since the very first game.
