Really big new announcements are, in my opinion, a bit unlikely. Not while Nintendo has so much on their plate to talk about.

However, that shouldn't be a deterrent, because more info on Bayonetta 2, X, and Smash should warrant interest alone. We've seen nothing significant of the former two since E3 2013.

also because I'd be angry if they, for example, add another interesting new game to the list of announced but yet so far away Wii U games, rather than give us some firm date about those fuc*ing games

(of course a Metroid teaser would be glad any way LOL )

But I'm secretly hoping that Nintendo will announce a partnership with EA for an exclusive Star Wars game series. I dont know if the franchise could be system sellers, but it will definitely bring much needed attention to the console.

I don't think that's very likely. I think Nintendo doesn't like the idea of releasing games until they're absolutely ready.
