I'm guessing the Treehouse stream will just be Splatoon gameplay.

I go into these Nintendo Directs with no expectations (it's better that way). But some more Wii Virtual Console games would be nice. DS and N64 support for Virtual Console on Wii U would be excellent.
And one can only dream that Nintendo finally does cross-buy on applicable VC titles, though that seems unlikely.

Different consoles and crossover game vs mainline entry. It wouldn't be that odd. Atlus itself had multiple Persona games revealed almost at once.

May is Spring according to Nintendo.
They have released games on September 19th and call it a "Summer" release since Fall technically starts on Sept. 21st and what not.

There's been like seven different Direct Leaks I've seen recently, and that's because everyone was expecting one...
Considering Wednesday is a typical Direct day, and this was the beginning of a new fiscal calendar, it was obviously someone eventually got lucky with a fake leak.

Edit: just cuz, I expect nothing...buu-uuuuuuut if something were to be announced...I'll take a Fatal Frame NA announcement, new trailer and info from Itagakis Devils Third(directly lol), possibility of Zelda TP on VC right after presentation due to Zelda U delay(please understand?), Rodea Sky soldier info, Xenoblade X blowout-also explaining Amiibo support, teaser from new upcoming Zelda animated series!(gross assumption cuz of various surveys, rumours, personal wants and recent Pikmin series, oh yeah and Zelda delay again!!!)

Well technically the last week of May is Summer, so Splatoon getting played as a Spring release is funny to me.
I don't know what I expect from this.
- Release dates from the leaked document announced.
- Mewtwo footage (hopefully a new character announced) for Smash Bros.
- Mario Kart 8 DLC release date.
- Footage of Yoshi, Splatoon, Mario Maker and Xenoblade Chronicles X.
I hope for one big announcement, like Animal Crossing U, but I'm not holding my breath for that.

We're definitely getting a Mewtwo trailer with this one. Makes me wonder how it'll compare to Project M's trailer. (It'll probably be better but man Project M did a good job with that trailer).
I'm hoping to at least see some Star Fox Wii U footage out of this direct too.

Normally I would agree, but with all this Nintendoubt lately, I think they need something big ASAP, and E3 may need something even bigger to tease us about their broad future plans. Animal Crossing might be met with a "hmph, that's it?" kinda reception.
They could go into much more detail about AC at E3 of course.

Why not? One is 3DS one is WiiU, they can cross promote the games
Smash U and Smash 3DS, and Xenoblade 3DS and Xenoblade CX same deal
I mean, Starfox is still this year. If they don't fuck around with that game, it's a system seller.

Bought a ticket for the hypetrain! Will be a nightride here in continental Euroland I guess! I am hyped but have no expectations. I will already be happy with a MK8 trailer =]
