Any word if you need to KEEP the DL on your console until time of purchase? I really don't have much space on my Wii U.

I'm gonna guess the 9 "Nindie" demos have the same play limit, because Freedom Planet has........ZERO!

Though I wonder, are you only able to play the demo until next week, or is that just when you're unable to download it/grab it from the eShop anymore.

Everything says just DL by Sunday.

Welp, Freedom Planet's demo felt a bit short (& with an EXTREMELY easy mini-boss), but I liked it. I recall there's 3 playable characters that are very different, and it seems to be Sonic if it allowed for a bit more exploration.

I'll have to see on the price, but I think I'll like this.

Man is "Nindies" ever a terrible name for a heading.

And what's with the "@home?"
Trying to ride off of stuff like "folding@home?"
Makes no sense at all.

"Play nine free #Nindies demos?"
No thanks.

I know everyone else thinks I'm strange for ignoring stuff/passing on stuff due to the name.
But man is "Nindies" ever a horrible heading.

Nintendo have a horrible PR schedule, I swear 25% off their monday announcements are late or not even on monday at all!
I get it, bank holidays, E3, dog ate the homework... still such a joke.

Or might be because this week is some big event that might hold some eshop surprises and otherwise they won't have too much to report.

They are Nintendo Indies and instead of having to go to E3 you can try them at (@) home
how is this a problem

Because turning "Nintendo Indies" (actually they aren't "Nintendo Indies," but "Indie games on Nintendo systems) into "Nindies" sounds extremely stupid >.>

And, are all console games going to be labelled with "@home" now?
At best it's redundant.

Insanely jealous of your tag =(

Nintendo. Indies. As a portmanteau it makes absolutely perfect sense. Such a good name.

I don't get the @home either though, at all. If anyone finds out the meaning then please share.

@home cause you DL/play the games at your home. It's like the whole "experience E3 at your home with these demos" that happened last year. This time, Nintendo is doing it.

Nindies@Home = Nintendo Indies at your home!

@GRW810: The demos are basically what you can play at E3, the exact same build, hence the "@home".

The name is fine.

Rive and Typoman are my two clear favorites. Rive is day one for sure, so much crazy in that little demo. I also liked Freedom Planet and Runbow .

But these aren't normal console games, they're E3 demos. Normally, you'd have to go to E3 to play them.

No point in explaining. Terrius won't ever understand. He'll defend Nintendo or more specifically NOA until the end; then when he can't understand something; he'll ignore everyone here explaining it.

You can now play the Indie E3 Demos at home instead of spending thousands to fly to CA to go to E3 to play them. Not a hard concept.

I am Nindie and proud. :p

My game's patch has been met with overwhelming positive response. Makes me happy to see so many people really enjoy the game now. :)

2 years of game development for ZaciSa has really taught me a lot!

Not sure if it was mentioned, but I got a response from 13am Games (Runbow) that you can indeed keep the Nindie demos after Monday, it's just that it won't be available for download on the eShop to "purchase" anymore.

I nabbed Earthbound Zero Beginnings because while I don't know if I'll play through it soon, I do want to support this decision that Nintendo made.

..................also I REAAAALLLLYYYYY hope this leads them to release Star Fox 2 on SNES via VC as well considering how that was just about finished.
