I'm so looking forward to the meltdowns for any exclusive game that's a Bayo 2 situation next week.
Metal Gear Solid V
Switch only version with Mission 51

What sense would Bayonetta 3 even make. Last one sold terribly even by wii u standards

When did Bayonetta 2 hit 1 million?
But the project you are talking about is Metroid Prime 1.5, not a game for 3DS.Wrong.
I know about that, but again, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about Retro's pitch.
It sounded neat.
Bayonetta 2 "bombed" guys,
Uk first week : slightly higher than 10k
USA first month : 68k (IIRC)
Japan first 3 weeks: 49.196k
Bayonetta selling 2 million on hardware of over 150 million is better than Bayo 2 selling atleast half a million (I'll be fair here) on 13 million hardware. OkWhat? Bayonetta launched stronger than Bayonetta 2, officially broke 1 million in sales, while no official report exists for the latter. The only data implying otherwise is VG Chartz which are banned from use as a source here for a reason.

The real crime is that The Wonderful 101 tanked, given its originality and production scope. Crime for Platinum and Nintendo. But the Wii U was a shitmess so I guess that's that.
Honestly I'm fairly certain the game probably wouldn't of done much better even if it was on a console with a bigger install base. I just don't think Wonderful 101 is really an appealing enough concept for the general gaming crowd, unfortunately.

Better than Bayonetta 2 in almost every way.The real crime is that The Wonderful 101 tanked, given its originality and production scope.

Not sure what IP could have the same impact that one had.
Mirrors Edge - Already came back to a muted response
Alpha Protocol - Do enough people care any more?
Prince of Persia - It's dead
Beyond Good and Evil - Is happening
Jet Set Radio - Yes please, this is a good suggestion
The World Ends With You - Wouldn't piss people off, as it started out on DS
Valkyria Chronicles - Latest Valkyria is multiplatform, maybe a Switch port of Revolution though?
Xenogears - AHAHAHA
Wiis are at $20.Is there any way that GameCube Virtual Console games are less than $30?

Bayonetta is overrated just like W101.
Wiis are at $20.
So I say 100 percent chance you won't be paying more then 30
Imagine Metal Gear Rising 2 on Switch only.
It's like Bayonetta 2 all over again.
You idea might sell less then W101I love TW101. However tonally the game was a mess. It looked like a childrens game but it had all sorts of violence and Inuendo. Tonlly it alienated both family and mature gamers.
Plus it got shafted by reviewers who hated it because it was hard.
If anyone at Nintendo is reading this. Please give it a second chance and give The Wonderful 101 the Dynasty Warriors treatment. Dynasty Warriors is a big enough IP that it will sell by itself and with 101 different Warriors (Hero Characters to choose from) plus Giant Boss Fights
Nintendo Please make "The Wonderful Warriors" happen
Atlus stuff. But this answer is cheating, so...I don't know really. I don't really play Sega games.Speaking of Bayonetta and Alpha Protocol, what do people expect from SEGA outside of the new Sonic game?
In this scenario Nintendo would essentially be licensing the IP and handling everything else. You do know, fuck Konami is a thing right?
Hopefully Skies of Arcadia 2.Speaking of Bayonetta and Alpha Protocol, what do people expect from SEGA outside of the new Sonic game?
