I have to give credit to Nintendo. My launch unit had a particle under the glass of the display. I sent it in and I already have the replacement. Super quick.
I don't think it will succeed for the same reasons as Wii, but I do think it will be a success. But it's not a system that will get non-gamers buying one for themselves the way the Wii did.So I tried out 1-2 Switch today at the bar of my university. It was pretty quiet, but everyone crowded around. Some four or five people came up to me to say they were really jealous and feltbadman that they didn't preorder it before, but they were definitely getting one. Now I look online and see at one store this thing is sold out until the middle of May.
It's happening isn't it? This is going to be another Wii.

Nintendo definitely have a nice console on their hands, it's now up to them to keep the momentum.I have a ton of people constantly coming up to me (who generally don't play games or haven't even owned a console since the GameCube or Wii) who are asking about the Switch, saying they want to buy one, asking what's the best way to get it.
I think the Wii's meteoric success was a once in a lifetime thing, but I think the Switch might be well on its way to being the true successor that Nintendo had hoped the Wii U would have been.

In January, yes 😃I assume this has been posted
Good question. Maybe contact Nintendo and report back.I have a quick question I couldn't find the answer to.
Me and my fiance both use our Switch. We have separate accounts and users. If I were to buy the BotW DLC, would it be accessible to both of us, or would I have to buy it twice?
Samsung evo plus or select (they're the same iirc)

Yes, agreed. Switch is waaaaay more appealing than WiiU. And I say that as someone who still loves my WiiU.No that's true, I can't see 60 year olds get it (unless there's some QoL coming). But I think it will be much more popular with the college crowd. A group of 20 year olds saying they really want it, they sure didn't get that from playing the Wii U in their adolescence, lol.

Went to my local Toy's R'Us to check if they had any official AC adapters and they were all sold out. I couldn't believe those would be selling.

Isn't this feature available on 3DS, Vita, PS4 and Xbox One.
Or is it much faster.
Can anyone recommend for me a good MicroSD card for the Switch(128gb preferred) Ive seen a few like the Sandisk Extreme(not sure the difference between that and the plus) and the Samsung one but really not sure which one is good
Samsung evo plus or select (they're the same iirc)
Anyone else's JoyCons not locking onto the console anymore? My left one isn't

Damn thinks like that had me concerned when Switch was first shown
Once I pulled my left JC by accident without pressing the tiny button, it came out.
Now it just is smoother, but the trigger still seems to work.
I'm going to see if I can get Best Buy to just give me a new left JoyCon. One of the benefits of a modular console I suppose.
It seems to stay in place for the most part, but I can still slide it loose if I hold it a certain way...
Here's a good list of cards with the speeds. Each link for the cards has a few places to buy them from.

I bought a Samsung 128GB EVO which doesn't have that GREAT of speeds (48MB/s) it was only $34 at my local Wal Mart lol. I'm going to get the EVO select (256GB @$199) or the SanDisk Ultra 128GB ($40)...
Did you have any saves transferred? Or was it a new unit?
Amazon updated my delivery for April for the deluxe carry case
Fuck, and of course scalpers grabbed all the fucking cases to make bank
Anyone else's JoyCons not locking onto the console anymore? My left one isn't
I've had that exact same issue, really wierd since I can't recollect anything strange about the way I've been disconnecting the Joy-Cons. Got it replaced, thankfully.
All of sudden my dock just quit fucking working. The console itself is fine but it looks like there's no power from the dock since I'm not getting the green light to flash. I've tried multiple wall outlets and TV's, I'm really fucking mad right now.
Did you get amFilm as well?I got my class screen protector in. Fits and looks great. Im surprised the switch now fits a little more snugly in the dock, the protector isn' THAT thick
All audio is output through the 3.5mm whether it is docked or not. After initially being hesitant, I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on the switch, those Zelda impressions seem just too positive to wait on. But I have few technical questions that might swing it...
Firstly, since the switch has a 3.5mm jack on the console itself and not on the controllers (including pro iirc?) will I run into any problems using headphones while the Switch is docked? I'm planning on hooking the dock up to a monitor, not a TV. How does Switch split audio exactly?
2nd question, has a consensus yet emerged on whats the best value power bank? A lot of the in depth impressions I'm reading are all recommending them, my upper limit would probably be 50-60 euro here.
Finally, based on some of the hardware defect reports (these happen every hardware launch I know) Have you exprienced much of them? I'm talking screen scratches, joycon desynching, freezing etc.
Yeah all this technical stuff I have no clue how to read all that LOL but if you had to choose since you already have the EVO would you recommend this one

or maybe this one this one is cheaper but seems good

Double check your USB/power connection. I had the same issue this week but I was retarded and had it plugged into the USB port not the AC port
The SanDisk would be plenty.
wireless LAN, the Switch supports up to 8 players each with their own Switch. No Internet connection is required.
