Don't think so, just e-shop and friends. Which you won't be able to use anyway.
Does the Switch do local shared updates - i know the options to do games is there (or is it? sure i read that somewhere). If you come across another switch user you might be able to update via him or her.
Ha amazing.Tested my switch at the gym, gotta say it makea cardio time go fast, and I hate cardio.

Is there an all around agreed upon "best" screen protector? Is it tempered glass? Any particular one?
I've got the screen protector that came with the official case on my Switch now, but I definitely see some little scuffs (I guess from the dock, sigh). Would tempered glass be just as susceptible I guess?

Edit - also, since I see that this nyko charger exists: Nyko Power Kit - Nintendo Switch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NB0G478/?tag=neogaf0e-20
Does anyone know if this works properly with the dock? I'm ordering another dock from store.nintendo.com but it doesn't come with a charge plug, and I'd rather not spend $30 on the official one. What's the most cost efficient solution for providing power to the dock?
Id say it's pretty decent in my experienceThe volume from the headphone jack is absolutely pathetic. Even with super easy to drive ear buds the volume sounds soft at maximum.
Has anyone had issues with HDMI switches? I tried plugging the dock into mine I use for all my consoles and I can't get it to output to TV, but as soon as I plug it in directly it works fine. It's not a huge problem as I can swap some inputs around, but I did like having all my consoles on the same input.
Thanks to your command and the comment you was replying to, I discovered the power button on my switchI've got the exact same gap there. Not sure how common it is.
Li-ion batteries don't work that way, thankfully. They're best kept "around 50%".I wonder if it matters if we dock it after playing handheld mode for a little bit, where there is still considerable battery life left. I don't want to screw up the battery. I know a lot of new devices have smart cycle counts for the battery, wonder if it is the same for the switch.
Yes, me too. The only thing I can think is that the NS could maybe be HDMI 1.4 and my HDMI switch and amp are HDMI 1.3?Has anyone had issues with HDMI switches? it's designed to be lot into sleep or standby mode. Wake it up by pressing any button 3 times.I hope Nintendo will patch in more powering down options as it is not handy at all in my set-up to go to the docked Switch (behind the TV, so yes, also desync issues to boot...) to hold a button to then finally have the option to power the system down completely. Same for turning it on for that matter, unless I'm missing a trick.
20hrs.Has Nintendo given numbers of how long the joycons last after a charge?
What's the largest SD card I can buy for this?
20hrs.

Can you use the Joy-Cons separately, so one is in each hand? Seems like the way I'd go.

Yep! It's comfy too.
Absolutely to both.
The Eshop is a currently web-based thing, right? The 3DS and Wii U Eshops were native, why not this? Seems strange...

THe system forces you to use them separately when you first set it up. I already had them attached and it made me take them out to proceed.
This is what I'm doing.I guess I'm treating it as more of a game boy successor than a new console.i want everything on this thing
i just want to play every game on this in handheld mode
Was reverse for me, had to attach them to do the initial setup.
