I don't see it. I'm getting 90 FPS and its very smooth. I'm reading all these doomsday posts and think maybe I'm playing a different game...

I was watching the TotalBiscuit stream for about a minute and he freaked out when the framerate hit 60. Why does he play with an uncapped framerate, anyways? A 30-to-infinity framerate rollercoaster doesn't sound like a good experience to me, in any game.

Find a place where you can summon your ship. Some outpost have these beacons and you can summon it to every POI with a landing spot. Just walk around using the jetpack method shouldn't take too long.

Try to find a outpost somewhere. Many of them will have a beacon thing outside which you can summon your ship to. You just need to build one of those bypass chips to use it.

Not that it's terminal. I skipped the hyperdrive blueprint by buying a hyperdrive equipped ship straight away. But I haven't seen a ship without a hyperdrive since.

TB doesn't really make smart decisions when it comes to settings. He's a fan of brute-forcing games through ridiculous hardware.

6700k, 980 Ti, 32g ram. I have a 1440p 144hz g-sync monitor so I turned off v-sync and put the Max FPS at "Max". Have slight stutter during title screen and intro, but none during gameplay. As I said, get 90+ FPS on the surface with some variation, but the g-sync takes care of those.

Yeah i know, i was like 7 warps deep when i bought it. It sucks cuz there was cool ships on previous systems but i wasnt ready to buy at the time. The system i was in had all the really boxy ugly type stuff but i NEEDED DEM SLOTS!

Obviously you should be able to delete your save file- sorry I don't know how- but is your current situation just that your starter planet is super hostile? No desire to just deal with it? My first starter was off the charts nasty, felt so good to leave behind.

Think you need to be online. It'll show you yours and somebody elses close discovered systems by pushing left or right.

It actually did work perfectly for me last night. Once. That's how I found my starting system again. But yeah, 95% of the time it's been busted.

Last night it worked for me as well. It was the first time I actually saw the game was connected online and not the red disconnect icon.

Hmm. I didn't do that, checked documents folder. I'll check that when I'm back home in a few hours.

Only had like 40 minutes to play and it's just be issues lol. I got all weekend so I hope it solves itself or I can restart. If not I'll probably have to whip out cheat engine and find the HP value and freeze it to fix the issue and somehow save the game when I'm safe on the ground.

Finally starting to get some new crafting recipes for higher end stuff like Power Reservoir, Unstable Plasma, Crolium etc.

I still haven't gotten a new multi-tool or ship upgrade in ages though, it's actually getting increasingly annoying how every time I check something that gives a blueprint I already have it. Wish we'd either get a token amount of units instead, or even just give me the "Nothing Found" pop-up instead of having to wait for the blueprint thing to come up and button out of it.

It's been working fine for me all week. I've seen some discoveries pretty "near" mine. (PS4)
That being said, the galaxy map's controls are terrible.

I've done a bit of the tutorial but, I redeemed it because I was getting sick of the message in the bottom right. Went through the prompts, transferred inventory and now it's disappeared. I'm still using the old ship, and well, I can't redeem it again? :Z

Wont your jetpack slow u down enough ? Give it a few bursts rather than using it all in one go.

If you are not activly gathering toi make a blueprint just sell it. The only thing you should keep stocked is energy for lifesupport and launch thrusters.

Jet pack does not need any fuel its part of your character. If you manage to land just find a green ? and that will be your new spawn point.

It has been reported that using the pre-order bonus ship will leave some players stranded, if they purchase or transfer to a new ship that does not have a hyperdrive (if done very early in game). In most cases the player is actually able to continue (107 of the 135 reports emailed so far). The game already detects the player needs a hyperdrive and directs them to a nearby NPC who will give the player the hyperdrive they need. Some other players were able to resolve this issue by restarting their console.

I finally redeemed my bonus DLC for pre-ordering since I am done with all the hyperdrive quests. Turns out, the Limited Edition doesn't get a ship so I've been playing this game for over fifteen hours with that annoying notification for no reason. /facepalm

Seems that everything stacks.

Groups with a colored border are providing a sync bonus to that system. Upgrades still work even if they're not connected in a way that activates the bonus, but it's a good thing to have. If you look at the "rings" showing your power, there's a little "extra" bit showing you what you're getting from the bonus.
