It's not the multitool upgrade terminal, it is an actual multitool hanging on the wall.I only tend to find upgrades, but will keep looking, cheers.

When you're on a planet with no animals, you can upload 100% complete data and it counts as +1 to your milestone.
It does end up bugging all your past planets/systems though. But it fixes itself for each planet you visit after.
The easiest place to get upgrades are at Atlas stations. They all have one.
So I found a planet yesterday with no animals but the upload 100% thing was greyed out. Am I missing something?
Wait, are you saying all Atlas stations have an actual multi-tool? Where? Am I blind?
It's not the multitool upgrade terminal, it is an actual multitool hanging on the wall.
Interesting, I don't recall seeing any tools just hanging on the wall, unless I'm being blind.
At what point do you get Altas passes? I'm in my 11th system now along the path and still none the wiser.

It's weird...but you just have to hold X to upload rather than Square for some reason.
Oops. Not Atlas stations. I meant anomalies. My bad.
So, there I was gattering gold when this happened:

Man, fuck this game. Now I'm pretty much stranded and all my progress lost because there is no way to get to the ship, which is creeping farther away slowly, buying a new one would take ages (I have less than a million units, the lowest ship that I could find in the pad were at 11 million)
can someone explain how the whole "mods placed next to each other have a coloured outline" thing works? i assume being next to each other they're getting some sort of bonus on top of their base level stat boost?
Shit, I never noticed. Gonna keep my eyes open better in those from now on.
I'm at 48 suit slots and a 31 slot ship but my multi-tool is still only a 12 slotter. Though to be fair I've been destroying with it. I've survived sentinel fights with the giant metal gear sentinels with this shitty little tool, lol. Mining beam with rail upgrade too strong.

It's on the right side of the room. You'll see a giant pillar but when you walk up to it it'll turn and reveal a multi-tool.
You aren't stranded. Find an outpost or anything that will allow you to summon your ship using a Bypass Chip.
No it shouldn't... the game isn't worth $60, regardless how many copies it sells. For those that don't follow game sales closely, NMS is a huge success

That is over 100K in the UK.
This should at least stop all those pricing complaints.
Wander aimlessly in a radioactive planet hoping to stumble on a post with the summoning thing?
Nah. Life is too short.
In that screenshot you're literally standing at an outpost with a landing pad. If memory serves you can summon your ship to it.

That's pretty much exactly it.
I don't know, at least 100.000 people in the UK say it's worth that much (or the Pound equivalent). No it shouldn't... the game isn't worth $60, regardless how many copies it sells.
but what is the boost? is there a way to see it? i mean, what am i getting from sticking a +2 and a +3 mining speed boost next to each other? or does it just end up being +5? if so, what do you get if those mods aren't touching each other?

Umm...you see that ship right in front of the picture there? It's a docking bay. Go to it and there's a computer there you can use a Bypass Chip on.
You have to wait for the ship that's currently there to leave though and a new ship can't be coming in.

It becomes a +5, yes. So ideally when you have something fully upgraded with Simga, Tau, Theta, and Omega upgrades you have a +10.
You can tell it's working because the items in a group get a colored border around them.
Welp, next system I warped to had an anomaly.
Checked the multitool aaaaand...
11 slot. Fuck me, lol.
Back on Topic I am now 160k away from the core and with Omega Hyper drive you can travel absolutely massive distances supposedly. Also has anyone else been getting manufacturing plants when searching for the Atlas Pass V2 & V3?
That's 100% subjective though. Considering how hooked I got this weekend, it's definitely worth €60 for me.No it shouldn't... the game isn't worth $60, regardless how many copies it sells.
Go to new systems, go to the station, sometimes, at least with Vy'keen they give you a new multitool because they think your old one sucks. All bases on a planet that have a trading terminal (not the one with six landing pads, but rather those with one) always have a multitool on the wall. I went from 16 to 24 slots yesterday.
I'm under the impression that if you have two installed, they both work, no matter if they're adjacent or not, and if they are adjacent you get a small bonus?
Oh, yes! I didn't mean to imply they wouldn't work if they weren't touching, sorry. They work no matter where you put them, but if they're all connected they'll get a boost, that's correct.
Which is why it fucking sucks you never get a chance to upgrade your suit to pull things out of the corner. I will never have a fully upgraded Jet Pack because it's wedged in the top left corner with my Life Support under it and my Suit to the right.
When you find an orange beacon you can craft a handful of Bypass Chips and search for Colonial Outposts. Doing this either gives you a marker for a Manufacturing plant or Operations Centres. What do you mean?
Seriously lol, I'm having the same problem. I seen a huge Starship which was beautiful and I've never seen it since now I have the funds to buy it!Man. I have a cool 25 mil sitting here waiting for a ship to land that I like. Before I had all this money I saw the most baller ass ships landing in the space stations but now that I'm on the market I keep getting Ford Pinto ships rolling in everywhere for like 2 mil. Whats the deal?

Finding a planet full of Graviton Balls and then finding an Outpost that buys them +95%How on earth do you have 25 mil! I am grinding up to 15 at the moment on a planet stocked with emeril, saving up for a sweet sweet ship upgrade. But each run takes the best part of an hour and only nets 1.5mil. Reveal your secrets!
