Follow the path toward the center a bit, scan for it in each system you visit.
I had made it about 4 or 5 jumps toward the center with no luck, so i started retracing my steps. Surely it's within the first 3 star systems?

I didn't pay much attention to my first black hole, but I saw the message after my second and confirmed the distance on my galactic map-- it sent me approximately 700,000 light years closer to the center.
Other posters have stated they'd gone over a million, while much, much smaller figures have been given as well.
I would like them to ingegrate:
A random quest algorithm.
Like give NPC's quest a la: Kill these, bring me these or hunt down these pirates that killed my brother.
And give us upgrades, tools or even ships as reward.
What makes you think that?I had made it about 4 or 5 jumps toward the center with no luck, so i started retracing my steps. Surely it's within the first 3 star systems?
Yeah, fuck Atlas. Probably some kind of super AI gathering intelligent beings to wipe them out at once. I ain't going to the center. Just gonna keep upgrading my pirate ship and searching for Neo Earth. It's funny..I keep going away from the center.. I'm like 190k away.
I started like 160k athe first.
Also I have a suspicion that the Atlas is something...not nice.
This guy was nearly 8m.
Also I was just on a planet with epic 6m high giant crabs.
You guys are lucky seeing giant crabs.
The closest thing I saw to a crab had a crab face but tarantula legs with a membrane head.
I've encountered them twice. What makes you think that?
I believe the entities you're looking for, Nada and Polo, sort of follow along the path to the center and show up every so often.
I found a planet with landscapes making up the United States with some weird other continents.Yeah, fuck Atlas. Probably some kind of super AI gathering intelligent beings to wipe them out at once. I ain't going to the center. Just gonna keep upgrading my pirate ship and searching for Neo Earth.
In progress is all we've heard AFAIK. And with all the launch issues, I suspect it'll be even longer than they had initially expected. I'm sure they want to make sure the next big update goes super smooth.Sorry if this has been covered but has there been any mention of the next patch timing?
I'm so glad I never saw that trailer and was only altered to this game by the online controversy (yes, they sold at least one copy by lying about MP, lol).
That is really, really far from what the actual game turned out to be like. God damn I'd be pissed.
So it looks like we will get paid DLC after all...

It sounds like he's just practicing CYA. After the first major shit storm of "lies" he's probably just trying to be less definitive about big points. Even though HG is Indie, they likely have some big investors that call the shots at the end of the day. If one these bros decides to pull funding unless they make a $20 DLC they might be up against the wall, you know? /conjectureSo it looks like we will get paid DLC after all...

Wow, if they add base building ad freighters behind a paywall there'll be riots.
Looking forward to next 40-page hyperbolic hate thread on this topic.
Atlus V2 & V3 are fucking useless lol. I didn't even bother with that shit.

I guess it depends on what they release later on. I'm not one to be so pendantic that the phrase "no paid DLC" means "everything will be free forever". A good expansion down the line would definitely be welcome.
CD Projekt Red said Witcher 3 would have no paid DLC, but of course had two meaty paid expansions. If Hello Games goes that route, I see no problems with that. But of course the internet will lose its shit because shitting on this game is en vogue right now.

I'm a walking resource center at this point...what more could I possibly want/get with them that I can't now? Opening those stupid doors for other resources I already have or can get with ease? Not nearly worth the time/investment imo.
I failed three alarms in a row. I am so bad.

Eh, is this even possible having two large planets this close without them crashing into each other in real life? lol

So you're saying that if I do the dupe, I still have to visit atlas X amount of times to trigger the end bit for that quest line?Just to let you know, the dupe trick isn't going to help you with the Atlas path. You actually have tovisit Atlas each time, so you might as well just hang on to the stones it gives you.
No, the systems are made up to look cool, they don't have an orbit
