It's actually extremely good. Surpasses the original Yoshi's Island in some ways.
It's a damn retread of the first game, basically, with the biggest innovation being large eggs. Dismissed.

Make of that what you will.
As of right now.. What's the next big Xbox one elusive.
I actually said before that I thought the Xbox One had already gotten all or at least, most of the benefit that it was ever going to get from Titanfall prior to the game's release, and this likely supports that assumption. When I saw all the crazy early Xbox One sales, I thought then, and still believe now, that there's no way Titanfall wasn't factoring into that somehow.
The game's amazing, and really has the potential to be huge. I still believe that as much as I did before. But just as I also said before, a proper, epic campaign would really help put this one over the top with this kind of gameplay, making it perhaps one of the biggest franchises this gen. I think it would have to release on both systems to accomplish that, but the potential for this franchise is clear as day. That said, I wouldn't underestimate the post release staying power of this first entry. Word of mouth should be very good to this game.
All that said, I still firmly believe people are way exaggerating the doom and gloom over the xbox one. I don't see anything that Microsoft should be overly concerned about, nothing at all. The thing is, so far, easily beating the 360 at the same point in time, and not doing so by a small margin. Does that fact make the 360 a failure? Of course not. The Xbox One is being outsold by the cheaper PS4 that's available in twice as many countries. I don't see the shame in that. Now, maybe if the 360 was outpacing the Xbox One overall, people would have an argument to make, but since when has 311k in the month of march been terrible? You guys are crazy.
Didn't InFamous also have bundles?
Yeah, comparatively that's not good... I wonder where PS4 numbers would be if they weren't supply constrained.
Yep, considering it was given out essentially for free.
The reason behind it is simpler than many people seem to realize.
Sony stuck by their gun as the have been hell bent on pushing gaming on the same curve they have always been doing, at the same time, all other manufacturers were busy trying too hard to find some undiscovered goldmines all for themselves.
Nintendo thought they had the next big thing with the tablet/traditional controller mixture, whereas Microsoft thought their gain would substantially increase if they merge gaming with the more common and traditional mediums. Sony was actually the only one who stayed on their normal path pushing and focusing the area in which most console gamers care about.
I firmly believe the massive success of Wii/DS and the subsequent rise of casual market from Facebook and Smartphones deluded a lot of top executives. Everyone seemed too focused on an easy cash-in from a new untapped market, they started focusing less and less on the better defined console gaming market. Sony, I believe is the only who has been consistent in their vision of delivering high-end games, which although sort of backfired during the early years of last generation, it has been one of the biggest factors on putting Sony where they are right now in the console market.
Would love the actual numbers on Titanfall.
Does NPD report numbers that go that low?
Never end story HD: PS3/PSV = 4/1
XBO megaton / PS4 megaton > 2/1 (Include bundle)
Yes but infamous wasn't thrown in for free like Titanfall
Probably not good enough to be put in the press release by Microsoft.Would love the actual numbers on Titanfall.

It's including bundles.
2 to 1, oh really.
I expected Infamous to do better. I guess single player doesn't sell as much.
Everyone regretting mocking Titanfall in its own thread now as they realise it has likely sold around 2 million already in the US alone.

Where are the numbers or as pop gaf eould say receipts? Where ie my final fantasy?Everyone regretting mocking Titanfall in its own thread now as they realise it has likely sold around 2 million already in the US alone.

any news on vita numbers? ( i'm being serious)
The average joe or 10 year old bobby won't know that. They'll care more about the price.
Mod Wars, something about a Green dinosaur...have you seen TitanFall by perhaps? @__@WTF is going on in this thread now lol
WTF is going on in this thread now lol
I think it's very presumptuous to say that the Xbone only sold 11k of the consoles before March 11th.Including bundles. So nearly 300k for Titanfall likely came from bundles, that were giving the game away, and discounted from $499.
I hope you don't think the PC and 360 count as platforms. There is only one, Xbox One.Across 3 platforms?
Damn right. Most of Vita copies sold digitally.

There was a yoshi game?
2:<350k, PS3 ~ 51%
5 demo: <280k, PS4 ~ 54%, XBO ~ 20%, PS3 ~ 19%
AND YOU FAILED TO STOP HIMSteve Youngblood personally raided Mod HQ, and took hostages to activate Ben Kuchera's secret account on GAF (such an act requires several personnel and biometrics to make sure that it's not a terrorist takeover of the site).
If the PS4 outsells the X1 every month, of course the gap is widening...
Ummm... Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD sold really well on the PS Vita compared to the PS3 in Japan. There was like 20-30k different iirc.Somebody in another thread earlier tried to tell me that KH 2.5 to Vita makes perfect sense because the Vita sales of FFX HD were great.
LOL to you, good sir.

Should have actually banned him and then posted that.
