surely a good exemple for an average /sIt's effectively minimal, isn't it? Here's KZ Shadowfall's footprint.
Any chance we will see AIO 3090s, and if so, they could be a shorter length?
I'm rocking a Meshify C case, I could swing the 3 slots and PSU requirements, but really don't want to rearrange my whole fan setup to try and fit this massive card.
I believe that we would see very different pricing as soon as AMD can get their sorry asses in gear (of which I am a fanboy of). Bloody monopoly.
Those OLED support legit VRR standard too. Some OLEDs support G-Sync which games them good for PC gaming with this new card!
3090 certainly does not look like a card that would last 5-10 years.I have a 980. I'm thinking the way i upgrade, every 5-10 years, a 3090 may be worth it.
We will almost certainly see 3090 AIOs but probably not at launch. Shorter? Maybe. I'm guessing the FE PCB won't really be "the reference" so they might use a different one for AIO.Any chance we will see AIO 3090s, and if so, they could be a shorter length?

If the 3090 is around 2k, I'm gonna get it, I expected more.
I always go EVGA hybrid (water cooled). Cool and silent. This 3 slot 3090 better come with a good cooler that's not too loud either.
Just to play console ports, LOLPaying 2K for a GPU... just to play console ports and Fortnite.
Just to play console ports, LOL
Some former Sony exclusives, all Xbox exclusives, some pc exclusives and better versions of console ports (most of the time)
Aham
But those are the best versions of those games, in addition to pc exclusives. Best of all worlds. You can play Sony, Xbox, nintendo, dreamcast, etc games as well. You just listed off mostly console ports...
Considering how console gamers are making a big deal out of SSD’s, backwards compatibility and game upgrades to their next-gen consoles, all features that have been standard on PC for a while, I would say this post rings hollow.PC Gaming has become a joke. Beside mod support and high end emulation is nothing that justefies that big pricegap anymore if u play mainstream games.
Damn straight!Paying 2K for a GPU... just to play console ports and Fortnite.
In what cave have you been living all those years!?PC Gaming has become a joke. Beside mod support and high end emulation is nothing that justefies that big pricegap anymore if u play mainstream games.

Near infinite backwards compatibility and free online are also great reasons. Far cheaper games. 60fps or higher support. edit: what B BacklashWave534 said as well.PC Gaming has become a joke. I've been playing blade runner lately. Can you play that on your console?
Why do you say that? Legitimately curious.3090 certainly does not look like a card that would last 5-10 years.
Playstation Classic and emulating an old Windows computer on itI've been playing blade runner lately. Can you play that on your console?
GDDR 63080 still has less vRAM than the 1080ti? Seems odd.

Seems Nvidia, because 3090 with 24GB will require a kidney donation....3080 still has less vRAM than the 1080ti? Seems odd.

Sorry I'm not into chinese slave labor.World of Warcraft?
lol. Sure, buddy.Sorry I'm not into chinese slave labor.
I don't see any console priced at $2000.......More and more people are willing to pay more for high end GPU's, but that market segment is so small and realistically no dev is going to leverage that power.......So people generally spend all that money just to game at higher resolutions and higher framerates from games created and founded on much lower specs.....Essentially, the graphics and experience is the same as someone playing at 1080p 60fps...Game over for these next gen consoles.
Not remotely correct. LOD is higher. Geometery, shadoows, lighitng, effects. Games are more than just resolution and framerate.I don't see any console priced at $2000.......More and more people are willing to pay more for high end GPU's, but that market segment is so small and realistically no dev is going to leverage that power.......So people generally spend all that money just to game at higher resolutions and higher framerates from games created and founded on much lower specs.....Essentially, the graphics and experience is the same as someone playing at 1080p 60fps...
Agreed.
