Those are not U.S. citizens. They are talking about non American duel citizens.

He's liked us so far despite admonishing Merkel and Germany for doing the exact same thing we're doing in terms of rolling out the welcome mat for Syrian refugees.
Trump is very selective about who he targets and admonishes. There's no political or monetary advantage for him to go after Canadians; it's not like he's short of other targets to demonize right now.

Revoking and/or cancelling a passport doesn't remove the underlying citizenship. If you are an American whose passport is revoked, you don't stop being American.
Well, it is true. The only way to prevent a citizen from entering the US would be to revoke their citizenship.
For naturalized citizens, there is a required court process and you must be found guilty of one of a handful of very specific offenses.
For natural born citizens, the USSC already weighed in on that:

You can renounce your citizenship easily, but if you are natural born, the US govt can't just take it away.
Regardless, there is nothing Trump could do in that regard. Changing things would require Constitutional amendments.

Well, I don't want to derail this thread with such talk, but I voted for Bernie in the primary and Hill in the election because I understood what was at risk if she failed. I'm sure a majority of them did as well. Right now it's about uniting the clans as a single battering ram against this orange monstrosity.
