I associate Kevin Nash more with WCW than WWE even though Diesel is what made him a recognisable person.

Scott Hall is Razor Ramon, everything after was just a fever dream.

Scott Hall does frighteningly little in WCW despite being a top five star most of his tenure there. He won WW3...but gave up the title shot. He won the Tag Titles...a few times. I think he briefly had the US title as well?

Razor Ramon I think of teaming with Flair, battling Bret, working with 1-2-3 kid, ladder matches, machismo. A character.

Scott Hall. That one Nitro, NWO, tasered Goldberg.

Its sad, but the only Scott Hall I remember from WCW now is "whats in the cup?" Scott Hall. Its doesn't really get enough attention as being one of the worst fucking things ever in this carny business.

This is why in my head I still view him as Razor Ramon more than Scott Hall and feel like his WWF career was better. Beyond the formation of the nWo, I don't remember much at all about Scott's WCW run

If Razor Ramon had stayed in WWF, he could have been a top tier star with HBK, Stone Cold, Triple H and The Rock. Guy had that much charisma.

Hell, we could be talking about Razor 3:16.

I can't fault Scott Hall for jumping to WCW, but you do kind of wonder what his career might have been had he stayed in WWF. Considering all of the talent losses they took during that time, he would have easily been a main event star. You also have to wonder if staying in WWF would have been better for Scott health wise too.

But while Shawn was still there his demons and out of control behaviour wouldn't have helped Scott.

WWF's schedule was crazy, WCW's was much lighter. I honestly think he would be dead by 1998 if he stayed in WWF.

And you know, funny thing......if it had just been Kevin Nash jumping ship, or Kevin Nash and some other small player, the nWo would have been just fine. Scott Hall meant nothing to that group beyond the original angle.

There's an argument to be made that Shawn staying in WWF is what kept him alive, to a certain extent. If Shawn would have jumped to WCW I think he would have spiraled out of control and nobody would be able to stop him

I mean honestly, didn't really even need to be Nash either imo. The idea of the NWO was just great. With the cool image/marketing could have been anyone. Only person who seems necessary to me is Hogan.

The first few months of the nWo was magic. It feels like yesterday that I was carrying baby imbask in his papoose as Scott Hall came in from the crowd and interrupted a Mike Enos Classic. Oooh, memoriesss.

Shit, can you imagine Shawn's ego if they treated him like Scott Hall? Or if he was done like Sting?

HBK didn't play second fiddle well, and Hogan was always on top in those times. At least in WWF, Shawn could realistically be on top, or seen as at the same level with all of the top tier talent they had.

I think Nash was kind of essential because he wasn't that far removed from being WWF Champion. So he gave the "we're being invaded by WWF" angle a lot of legitimacy. Hogan simply put the angle over the top.

Honestly I think HBK being in WCW would have been a doomsday scenario for WCW. The backstage politics would have been toxic and out of control because you'd have Hogan and his old blood pull versus basically the core of the Kliq, being lead by HBK at the height of his drug use and when his ego was at an absolutely maximum. It would have led to a huge power struggle in the midcard and upper card, not to mention the Cruiserweights would have probably gotten completely obliterated.

Yeah, you needed Kevin Nash. You weren't going to get another WWF main event talent jumping ship in time for the angle.

Nash also made an impact because he was never a huge name in WCW before being in WWF, same with Scott Hall when I think about it.

I hope ya'll realize Scott was a huge part of what made the nWo cool and that it wouldn't have worked without him.

Like as much as I love Big Daddy Cool, Scott is the one that bookers said came up with most of the ideas of what would make them hip to viewers. Also no Scott Hall=no Crow Sting. No biggest NWO feud of all time.

Hulk Hogan and the bookers of WCW weren't going to be able to make the nWo cool.

This is a very good point, Data

Shit, imagine HBK jumping ship with Nash and Hall, but as a good guy whose there with Sting and Luger, ect. but isn't as trusted at first, and then being written into the Crow Sting character.

Learn something new everyday. Its kind of weird how Scott Hall was able to pick two movie gimmicks that would be throwaway cheesy gimmicks done by anyone else, and them just end up being classics.

Hogan would have buried Shawn so fast in WCW it would have made your head spin.

Shawn would have been in Syxx's position at best. A feud with Ric Flair, a spot due to his friends but with an even shitier attitude, fired shortly after

I really want to peak into the parallel universe where this happened. Because the Hogan vs Kliq backstage stuff would have been legendary. Shawn wouldn't have tolerated that shit at all and he would have had Hall and Nash backing him, which means Bischoff couldn't punish Shawn that much since he was protected.

It just means X-Pac gets fired sooner.

I wish Sunny was here, I now feel awful for booing Batista.

Most surprising left winger I've seen on Twitter is Jim Cornette. I would've put money on him being far right but he's the complete opposite.

I want a Jericho vs Goldberg feud for wrestlemania just to see Jericho's promos plus there is good history there to build off of. The match would be bad but the lead up could be really good.

I was up to Day 3 or 4 of the G1 last time I watched. Should I just skip to the last 2 nights?

considering he thinks brian griffin from family guy is the greatest television character ever, it's not that much of a surprise

Even though I only remember the bad things about his WCW run, I still call him Scott Hall. His finisher though will forever be the Razor's Edge. Outsider's Edge is an awful name...almost as bad as Beckplex.

Line-up for the ITV World of Sport pilot, so far;

. CJ Banks
. Joe Coffey
. Mark Coffey
. Zack Gibson
. Joey Hayes
. Danny Hope
. El Ligero
. Dave Mastiff
. Johnny Moss
. Sha Samuels
. Kenny Williams

Pretty good list already, hopefully this turns out good. British wrestling needs to be back on British TV again.

The whole Del Rio / Paige thing is going to be a really interesting shoot interview a year from now when their relationship goes belly up
