Think I may have mentioned before but I worked as a teacher in an international school in Thailand and our head (fucking straight white male) decided to employ two black teachers. The Thai parents were furious, the white parents didn't give a shit. We hired them anyway, they were good at their jobs and well qualified so why wouldn't we?

Annoyingly Thai management had a graded pay scale based on race, so white people earned the most, followed by Filipino with Thai at the bottom. I think the black staff were paid somewhere between Thai and Filipino rates.

An interesting point of note, Thais spend a fortune in whitening cream.

Some of the people he complains about, e.g. Chindogg, are long-standing members of the community and their comments were really mild. Calling these people trash, together with the aggressive backseat modding should definitely have had consequences.

Filipinos are racist to specific races, I say this because I'm Filipino and I live here.
