Rockets just look totally deflated. they were only down 15 at half. they should have come out with some confidence and energy. when McGrady missed that 3 that would have cut it to 10 and the Mavs scored on the break that pretty much killed any comeback.

to me it just looks like the team wore down and nobody had their shots going early. thats why its soooooo important to have a killer instinct and put teams away on your home court like the Rockets should have done in games 3 and 4. the deciding factor in the series is not so much what happened in game 7 but what happened in games 3 and 4. you have to take care of business because you never know what kind of injuries might occur or what physical state your team is going to be in late in a series.

It didnt even matter if T-Mac shot 15-26 tonight, Mavs offense was just killing the slow Rockets D and the Rockets bench went out to the strip clubs with Ewing during a timeout in the 1st quarter

This game was like how most experts thought the series would be like, Rockets = slow and old. Mavs = young and fast. The old men just got tired and died off at the end of the race.

Just checked the stats, T-Mac and Yao = 60 of the team's 74 pts...and T-Mac didnt even play the 4th! :lol

Even though they won, Dirk's stock dropped considerably this series imo, similar to how Peja's fell last year in the playoffs. Let's see if he can redeem himself against Phoenix; with Marion likely to be covering him, however, that'll be a tall order. Still, with the torrid pace the game is likely to be played at, Dirk will probably have lots of open looks in transition, so we'll see.
