Me too. I would love to see the Suns series go 7 but after the last three games I will be happy with a 6 game series.
If it hasn't already been said. I don't think there has ever been a team more capable than the Suns to come back from being down 0-3 to win a 7 game series. I don't think it will happen but they got the most chance.

And for everyone knocking Ewing-- here's the thing. First off, you can't compare Ewing at the end of his career to Shaq in his prime. That's not fair at all. That's like saying "Well Lebron has better numbers than Jordan did in Washington, so Lebrons a better player." Second off, you can't measure the two in terms of championships. Who's the best player Ewing ever played with? John Starks? Please. You put Ewing in his prime with that Lakers team, and Shaq with the Knicks, and you'd see that Lakers team win 4 or 5 championships, instead of 3 and crumble. First off, you wouldn't have the ego problem that Shaq has. Not saying he's a bad guy, but I mean c'mon... LA had the 4 biggest egos in the league on their payroll last year (Payton, Malone, O'neil, Bryant). You get a center with an ego that won't hurt Kobe, but a center that can still put up 20 and 10 a night, every night, like Ewing could, that team doesn't lose to Detroit A SINGLE GAME. They probably beat Sacramento, too. In terms of actual skill for a big man, Ewing could at least sink a jumpshot. And don't give me that "Shaq doens't sink it cuz he doesn't NEED to" shit, either. That stupid logic didn't hold water in terms of his free throw shooting when people wanted to use it... it won't hold water in terms of any other aspect of his game. I mean, yeah, he can dish the ball occasionally, and make some really nice plays. And I do think he is one of the greatest centers ever. But people are so ready to name him a basketball God that it pisses me off.
Beyond that, the Spurs are gonna run the train on anybody they play. They can slow it down and drag it out to an 85-80 win, or, as they've shown, they can run teh floor and beat you with 125 points in a game. If Detroit plays them, Detroit MIGHT get a game... Miami might get two. But really... most of the games won't be close. If Miami puts shaq in, watch the spurs run the floor with parker, ginoboli and barry (did ANYONE foresee Brent Barry ever being as important to a team as he is in San Antonio?), and the moment they pull shaq, watch them slow it down, toss it down low and have Duncan embarass Mourning or Christian Laettner.
I agree, dude. Shaq could have been a much better BASKETBALL player if he had put some effort into his game over the years.
He is probably the best passing center in the game right now (Vlade is done and Webber is a PF) and you'd never see him fumbling balls and racking up TOs for Kobe (Screw you, Mihm!!!) cos he has such good hands for a center. He'd have probably extended his career a lot more if he didn't just rely on his size and worked on a mid-range shot...
PS: I don't see how he never learned to defend the PnR either. Spurs are gonna do it all day in the Finals :lol

I'm embarassed for Suns fans watching them open lane after lane for TP and Manu to drive a fucking truck through. The only defensive display worse than this one was last series between the Mavs and Suns. Two teams running exhibition games every night. This is one area Detroit would have a much better chance in. They know how to run the trap, so Manu's not just gonna dribble to the hoop everytime. The announcers are going ga-ga right now, but this is nothing Wade or *groan* Kobe does on a nightly basis. But when you trap them or double, they hit a brick wall and end up forcing shots or turnovers. Phoenix just looks so clueless out there on the court, it's pathetic. And Marion is once again getting BOWNED. Another disappearing act for him. Everyone knows how this game is gonna end. The next 20 minutes are a mere formality. I was hoping Phoenix would at least offer some resistance. PEACE.

Joe Johnson is so critical for this Suns team when they play the Spurs. With him, Nash (defensive liability) can be put on Bowen while the bigger Johnson does a great job on Parker (stopping the Spurs always starts with containing Parker). He's also their only dribble penetrator other than nash, which is critical.
