That's classic!

Nice win tonight by the Pistons. As dominant as Shaq is, Wade is the key to this series. If the Pistons can contain him, the Heat have no chance.

</obvious Bill Walton-like commentary>

You know I have to admit... I'm not as much impressed with his wife as I was before when I'd see her with him or at the Arena. Get that girl out in the sun more!

Yeah, she looked much better in older pics where she was a little more tanned and sporting what seemed to be a better figure. :-p Now she looks... BLEH!

She owns his ass, and apparently her ass was owned along the way too. One word though, HALF.

She doesn't have to do shit now :lol

Just when I thought I could not hate Steven A Smith anymore, he hits that free throw on shoot around ....I wonder how long he practiced...

I think someone is drugging Marion before the games. His defense is a complete joke and he no longer attempts to grab rebounds, he just kinda tips them around. He looks totally lost at times.

There's a 0% chance of the Suns losing if Nick Bevetta has anything to say about it. And apprarently, he does!

I'm sensing a ridiculous continuation call on a Marion three point attempt for the Phoenix win here....

"You betta believe it..."

The Spurs have been running people over all game if you havent noticed. Nash has been fouled like every possesion this qtr. Tyson isnt a Suns fan, he just trains in phoenix.

Good no offensive foul call on Ginobili there. Don't just run under the guy when he's taking off and expect to get the call. And fix your bald spot.

The Suns taking some horrible shots here down the stretch. Really would have loved to see this go a 6th or 7th game, but they are killing themselves.

Duncan is having a big game despite having two guys in his lap every time he touches the ball. He's really amazing; if Amare or anyone else was receiving that type of defensive attention, there's no way they'd be having the impact Duncan is having.

Why the HELL didn't Ginobili call a timeout when he was trapped on the baseline? Stupid...

If that ends up costing them the game, that'll be nuts.

Spurs > Refs + Suns.

What a joke of officiating...

Yeah, like that goaltend that should have been called on Duncan that was a huge play. Oh wait. Great timing as usual, Konex.

Ah well, as little as I like the Spurs and as much as they bore me I've been saying they're the best team in the NBA by far all year, I had them winning this in 6 (and the Finals in 5), which they probably would have if the Suns had Johnson.

Duncan is truly great-- 31/15/3 blocks on 57% shooting while CONSTANTLY being doubled hard on the catch. That's incredible; he's an amazingly poised player.

This was also Stoudemire's coming out party-- he's gonna run shit next year. :D You can see his game developing even now-- he made some nice post moves tonight, and his stroke from 15-18 feet looks very nice.

I love watching the Suns, love Nash, and they had a nice season too, but that style of play just won't work in today's league with teams like the Spurs and Pistons. This series was exactly like the Mavs-Spurs WCF of 2003. The Spurs are just too solid defensively. The Suns have an advantage that the Mavs didn't/don't have in Amare, but they still need a couple of consistent defensive stoppers to be able to compete with the Spurs over a 7-game series.

I'm really excited to see what Amare does next season. He has so much potential to be the next "most dominant player" in the NBA.

Well the Suns had a freaking mountain to overcome:

-very little defense
-no Joe Johnson when they needed him most
-no bench (especially when they didn't have Johnson)
-no playoff experience vs. basketball's closest version of the New England Patriots

Any one of those would have been enough to do them in, but all of them? Yikes. Well now they've got some experience, and they got basically to where most people expected them to after their great season, so they're right on track if they make a few moves in the offseason.

but that style of play just won't work in today's league with teams like the Spurs and Pistons

Only those 2 and maybe Seattle could beat the Suns in a series though.

PS: Amare is the new Most Dominant!
