He ended up shooting 43%, which means he had a pretty good FG% after the all star break, he was like 39% before it.

I know we had a bet, but we never set any conditions on the bet did we? Hell did we even bet avatars?

Oh yeah, it reallys sucks having Konex cheering for the Mavs too. :(

Yes, he shot better after the AS break, but you bet that he'd finish up the season at 47% or better (you said 48%, actually, but I cut you some slack if I recall). Not 43%...47%. :D


And we never really got into specific terms beyond having a custom Jordan-related tag or avatar, though keeping the Jordan avatar for the playoffs seems to be fair imo. :p Don't renege! Be a man-- it's what Tom Brady would do. ;) :p

Loki, just come up with the terms we had and I will go back to that Jordan avatar if someone gives me the filthy address. As long as we had some kind of terms for both of us I will consider it a bet.

Oh wow...I'll probably have to fish through all the old NBA threads by hand in order to find it. Considering that the search function only shows results back til February or so, and that each NBA thread has been over 25 pages long, I might not be able to find it. In which case you're off the hook, I suppose. <shakes fist at bionic> :D


Still, you DID agree to the terms, and the terms were either a custom tag of my choosing (if Bish approved) or a custom avatar. One month seems like a fair amount of time-- I know I wouldn't have set the terms as "two weeks" or anything, because that would be stupid. :p IIRC, I would have had to do the same thing if you won.

I don't need a quote, I just wanted to make sure we had set terms. Your word (even though it might be questionable considering your idol) is good enough. I really just don't remember us setting any sort of terms. That might just be my shitty memory though.

He wanted the Steelers to win and he loves Kobe. I was fucked for both bets.

I was arrogant enough to challenge his evil powers and I am paying for it now. :(

All this people picking Dallas as sleepers piss me off. Everyone is picking Dallas how can they be sleepers? And for the past 2 weeks all I hear is "Dallas is playing defense now, they have a shot". This journalists sound like a broken record, thats all they say.

I liked dallas though, until everyone started jumping in their wagon.

Yao is so worthless on the boards and playing defense. He is definitely a great player offensively, but if T-Mac can learn to play good defense Yao has no excuse.

I love Kevin Harlan-- he's awesome when big plays are made. He was even more boisterous before he hooked up with TNT/ESPN. I have a game from '98 on tape between Chicago and Minnesota, and every time Anthony Peeler hit a 3, he'd literally scream "CORD!!" Jordan made a hangtime move and he let loose with "DID YOU SEE THAT!? I SAW MAN FLY!!" Hysterical. :D
