Threw it to 2nd base which caught the 2B off guard and Sean Rodriguez busted it to second not assuming anything and was safe at second at a bang bang play at second.

So the Rays scored the game winning run via a fielder's choice at second.

No idea. He has been taking grounders and traveling with the team this past week, but so far there hasn't been any real news. Obviously they aren't in a rush to bring him back but they'd like him to get some minor league rehab in, so they'd have to rush at least a bit before the minors season ends.
