Official bitching about Hudson abandoning VC support. [VC/WiiWare = lost cause]

If nothing goes up... wow.

What is the official word on all those Mega Mans? Is there a reason everyone else in the world has them but not us?

They probably saw the update Sony put up for the US and EU PSN last week and figured there was absolutely no pressure to deliver anything.

If Nintendo's output was decided by PSN activity, we'd almost never get stuff. =P

Last time I was able to find this happened (assuming we don't get a PR before the games arrive) was back in May, and we got Mighty Bomb Jack, Final Fight, and Ordyne.

Shh, its okay, calm down!

Smash Bros hits Sunday, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles drops after that

even if they don't put games up we will survive

who am I fucking kidding.. UPLOAD THE ORIGINAL SMASH!

I am really shocked that we haven't heard anything about this weeks titles.

This kind of delay happened quite a few times during the early part of 2007. It didn't indicate anything unusual - just that Nintendo was unable to get the PR up in time. I remember one week when the PR was released several hours after the games were actually uploaded on the Virtual Console.

Bah, i don't have much place in my Wii system memory and this indicates i should finish a couple of games instead of buying some more.
(Let's go Nintendo, it's a free pass right there if you want to upload crap!)

QFT QFT QFT!!!!!

I already own the JP versin of Brawl but i still want Smash 64 today XD

Seriously if we don't get Smash 64 today the NOA sucks.

I mean we got both a Mario game and 2 Metroid game till the week(s) leading up to Galaxy and Corruption! So if we don't get Smash 6y4 today then...I will be mad >:(

Yeah, clearly Nintendo has been feeling pressured by the wakening juggernaut in this, the year of our lord, 2008. Nice of Sony to remove their boot from Nintendo's throat this week.

am I the only one who doesn't want the original Smash Bros? I wouldn't spend 10 dollars on a game that will get played for 6 days.

6 days? I am ready to spend $10 to play it for two hours!

/sarcasm ?

If this was St. Patrick's Day, I could forgive Nintendo because they would be totally wasted by now. We better be getting a new Wii channel and DS demos today.

there has been a couple of times where the press release didn't show up until later in the day, but there was still an update. people just need to relax.

Do you have a giant styrofoam model to prove your point?

I predict its a super secret special involving a Brawl channel, a Brawl demo, SSB64, AND SSB64 HD!

Meanwhile, the XBLA Train keeps delivering its cargo week in and week out.

Because for a long time the XBLA train was derailed, and fans spoke up... with pitchforks and torches. They made expectations clear, and MS finally got it together.

I think that time is coming for Nintendo. I mean really, the back catalog is enormous, and they aren't doing much at all to these games... there's no reason there can't be 4 a week, period, like clockwork.

Maybe Nintendo felt so ashamed by the thread on NeoGAF that they're putting up Goldeneye remake and all of the Rare games.
I just wanted to let you know I imagine you typing all your comments with arms flailing and a goofy smile on your face. :lol

Obviously the delay is because they decided to put up the entire NES and SNES library and have been working tirelessly to write descriptions for all of the games.

*dreams big*

I am aware of the troubles last year, but that was last year.

What? The amount of people still bitching is very minor. Doing 4 games a week would not be smart in the long term since there are still many publishers not supporting the VC (Electronic Arts, Activision, Midway, Disney Interactive, Throwback Entertainment (which owns the rights to Acclaim's old games), Atari, etc.) and 4 games a week would cause them to run out of games much quicker.

Good Lord, I really don't care that much about the VC right now, but this is still annoying me.

What the hell is going on? Did someone get locked out of his office or something?

Has the fearmongering from Jiggy and myself finally come to fruition? Are we really getting the dreaded "no-game week"?

O...of course not! Earthbound must surely be right around the corner!

Listen to yourself, man! Do you know what you're saying?

Edit:
please be Shining Force 2 or Earthbound. Come on, Nintendo! I've been faithful!
