Official bitching about Hudson abandoning VC support. [VC/WiiWare = lost cause]

this year is the 10th anniversary of F-Zero X and it would be a good idea if Nintendo released the EK to celebrate it.

here's a vid of someone who is making a couple of tracks to celebrate the date later this year:

the vid has a secondary objective which is raise awareness of the EK so people will request it a lot and hopefully nintendo will listen to us and release it. it's virtually the only worthwhile 64DD game that exists and it needs to be known by more people. the VC is the best shot it has currently since not even the emulation scene can experience it.
 
I hope it's Final Soldier or Super Fantasy Zone just to spite JohnTinker. :D (Well, more because I really, really want both.)

I would totally buy that... I'm assuming it requires F-Zero X though, and I'm not sure how they would handle that... plus there's the fact that NOA seems to have shunned F-Zero ever since Falcon Legend bombed.

Geez, that was almost verbatim to what I was going to post. >_>

However, I'm hoping for Earthbound moreso than those two, despite how awesome those two games look to be.

Funny how when I was 10 years old I beat Ninja Gaiden without a Game Genie.

Now, at age 26, Donkey Kong Country 2 is kicking my ass.

Well, ideally, we'd get both Earthbound and one of the mentioned games.

Nintendo hasn't had the nerve - yet - to do a one game week with a TG-16 or Genesis game anyway.

I have a feeling Everybody's Nintendo Channel will be out this week. I don't know why. But last we heard it was supposed to be out within a month.. and that was February. I could see this coming soon, and soon meaning this week.
 
So I just bought Lords of Thunder.

You know, I'd like to be with the "games don't influence people" group, but ever since I played this game I now have the urge to play an electric guitar and never wear a shirt again.

This is THE game I've been waiting for on VC. My Nintendo 64 is dead as a doornail and I've been hanging out for some sweet Gyrocopter love.

Mindless? I'll have you know that I put thought into my lists. :P

Incidentally, while we're still in the week in which Kirby 64 is relevant, I'd like to break with tradition and actually say something good about the game. Namely, that exploding shurikens are among the best attacks found in any game ever.

Compared to the usual lists, which are just games that people own with no other parameters, these required some effort. >_>
 
I honestly don't expect this week to be anything special. I think the PR delay is either directly related to the Friday leaks, or just completely unrelated to the games themselves. Maybe the usual PR editor got the flu or something.

That being said, I'll probably still be refreshing the press site in the morning. It's like an addiction. I don't even buy that many VC games, but I have to know what they are ASAP. I'm a sick man.
