Trouble for Me is the jam. Haters GTFO

The only song on the main album I dont care for is Seal it With a Kiss, but I still wouldnt change it for any of the bonus tracks. Not because they're not good but because they wouldnt fit the flow. I think flow-wise, this album is nearly perfect.

Tickets go on sale April 9th BTW. I feel this tour is gonna flop since now major outlets are reporting on her lackluster performances. They kept quiet during Circus but now they're talking. In a way Im glad.

Not true. I remember a lengthy list of major news outlets spewing toxic fumes towards her X-Factor and GMA performances from that era. I'm actually surprised at how tame the criticism has been.

lol @ critics though. The lowest scores have thesis about Britney and not the album itself. Reviewers will be reviewers.

I hate reviews for Femme Fatale. The allmusic never once mentioned any song, they just focused on Britney and her voice.

We're seven albums into her career, ridiculing her voice is so 1999.

The album is set to sell about 300k, maybe a little lower. Why do her best albums always sell less?????

i've been listening to the japanese bonus track "scary" i think this is the best bonus track and it should be on the album.

All the pieces of the machine are in place, it's just seems the machine is not as vicious this time.

This album is very impressive for a Pop album.

Production value on many songs is through the fucking roof. Haters gonna hate, but some talented people put their foot in this album.

Current favorites: Trouble For Me, Inside Out, Gasoline. I recently upgraded my sound (HDP (amp), with Denon 2000, and today I'm using the Major) and FUCK the difference is fucking amazing.

If anyone cares, I'm using this EQ custom-preset:

damn bro. that's some hardcore alterations. lol. glad you're enjoying. have you tried the D2000's with any movies? Listening to them while watching something like Star Trek (2009) is orgasmic.

Trouble for Me and Gasoline are great. I think I like every song except Big Fat Bass. I was surprised, because the piano coming in really reminds me of Tartarus in Persona, but they just totally waste it.

Shouldn't the bass get louder when you say "the bass is getting bigger" or something? It just seems lazy and not creative. Which fits will.i.am perfectly.

Haha, thanks. It's not me though, I found it by reading a lot of articles and everyone recommended against going up from zero.

I have yet to see a movie with it. Ordered David Garrett's Rock Symphonies concert and I can't wait to experience it with my new setup. Credit goes to you for guiding me to the amp. I'm now awake for more than 24 hours; I work 12 hours and I just can't bring myself to sleep while this amp is just setting there doing nothing.

Okay. To be honest, I'm sad that this new sound for Britney isn't attracting the attention I thought it would. People here like it, but you don't wanna see my friends. They call it Femme Fail. I understand the hate, but it makes me sad because they didn't give it time nor any effort to make it sink.

Oh well.

By the way. Amy Lee (from Evanescence) tweeted one hour ago that she'll be announcing something special this Monday. New album? Oh my God. Evanescence are my favorite group ever. I can't wait. :( Off-topic I know, but I'm excited.

I bought Rated R and Loud about a week ago or so and I'm having SO much with them. Never liked Rihanna but these albums are Pop perfection in my eyes.

I have so many music to hear and sink into that I wanna take a vacation just to devote myself to my recent purchases. Rihanna's 2 albums, Femme Fatale, B.o.B's No Genre, David Garrett's Rock Symphony, Within Temptation's The Unforgiving, Robyn's Body Talk, and few others. God.

I recommend Kelis's Fleshtone album. Album of 2010 for me.

The album is not a fail but its not the overwhelming success anybody expected so people like to exaggerate and be dramatic. I really think there's this disconnect between Britney and the new generation. I think she's at an awkward place in pop right now where people just wonder what is she really bringing to the table that Katy, Kesha, GaGa and Rihanna arent. I think the next album is gonna be a true reinvention like when Britney (album) didnt do as expected and then she completely changed up her game for In The Zone.

What. Big Fat Bass is definitely the best track on the album. I really hated it at first, though.

I don't think Trip to Your Heart gets enough props. The choppy production on that song is eargasmic.. :o I want an instrumental naaoww.

Trip to Your Heart, Till the World Ends, and How I Roll <3

How I Roll is also good.. I guess it's no coincidence Trip to Your Heart and How I Roll are produced by Bloodshy & Avant.. they seem to always come up with weird and strange productions.

We were all raving about it hard when the album leaked. It really is an exquisite song. B&A have become my favorite Britney producers.

Loving the Michael jackson vibe in Scary. I've found that I'm in love with Trouble for me especially when she says 'you're king of the night' The only song I really despise on the album is "seal it with a kiss" the oooohs irritate the shit out of me. I love how every week I have new favorites :p

I think I've listened to the tracks enough now to form an opinion on them. Although I could probably rank them differently tomorrow already, haha. :)

Great tracks

Trip to your heart (awesome trance-like music with interestingly processed vocals)
Inside Out (great bassline and love the multi-layered vocals)

Good tracks

Big Fat Bass (could've ranked higher, but around the 3minute mark it all starts to fumble. Wasted potential)
Seal it with a Kiss (the bass sounds as if it's damaging your woofer or something. Just awesome. I like the "ooh ooh ooh ooh" part too :P)
Up n Down (sounds straight out of the 90s. It reminds me a bit of Inner City - Good Life. But there's some other songs hidden in there as well)

Okay tracks

I wanna go (Really great verses and bridge, but the chorus is a letdown)
How I roll (I always skip it, but it's not a bad song. Has an interesting structure)
Trouble for me (another one skipped, but it's not bad either)
Gasoline (the bridge and chorus are nice. But overall it lacks a *spark* ;))
He about to lose me (I like the beat and chorus, but it doesn't really sound finished. More like a demo)
Selfish (Just a typical pop song imo. Nothing special)
Til the world ends (Running out of things to say. Okay song, had more potential)
Hold it against me (not a fan of the really barebones generic beat over most of the track. The bridge and very last chorus/bridge are good though)

Meh tracks

Criminal (I don't like whiny Britney)
Beautiful (drop dead) (song does nothing for me)
Don't keep me waiting (Rock me In is the only exception to the rockney=shit rule.)

As someone who is a huge fan of "old" Britney, this album is really hit-or-miss to me (I find Blackout her weakest next to In the Zone as well), but some songs are plain amazing.

Awesome:
I Wanna Go
Criminal
Trouble For Me

Great:
Hold It Against Me
Inside Out
(Drop Dead) Beautiful
Seal It With a Kiss
Gasoline
Up 'N' Down
Don't Keep Me Waiting

Good:
How I Roll
He About To Lose Me
Selfish
Trip To Your Heart

Shit:
Till the World Ends
Big Fat Bass (tied with Early Mornin' as her worst song IMO)

LOL Early Morning is like one of my fave Brit songs of all time xD

Well IGN reminds us why they should only stick to games. Anyone who calls I Wanna Go and Trip To Your Heart unlistenable should reconsider their life.

And Godney appeared at the Kids Choice Awards for like 5 seconds but it was cute! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3nyHezyDc0

lol these putas. The glaring misuse of commas in the first sentence speaks volumes about the quality of this "review."

Fans who hate Big Fat Bass are gonna hate when it is revealed as the next single in a few weeks' time.

Meanwhile, props to Australia for debuting this at #1!

Im cool with any single choice as long as its not Seal it with a kiss.

The rumor is that BFB is the next american single and Europe gets I Wanna Go.

Did you guys see the MTV doc just now? I swear to God she needs to lose those heels, she was so great during rehearsals. "They hurt but they look good on stage" GTFO with that Brit lol

I'm not going to look forward to hearing Big Fat Bass on the radio. It's one of those songs that I should like but... it just isn't.

I think How I Roll is still my favorite. I've also become a fan of Inside Out after listening to it a few times in the car.

Shit how did I miss this? Oh yeah I was watching Wrestlemania! LOL

I was thinking today...any of you suddenly realize you are probably the only person on earth doing something at times? Today I was probably the only guy on a Harley Davidson Road King cruiser singing Til the World Ends full voice! LMAO

Edit: Ahhhh it's on right now! She's adorable!

I just watched the documentary and I have to say that the whole interview was pretty strange. She didn't seem to be present at all and she looked very tired, even when said things like "I'm so happy when I'm om stage" etc. (Can't remember if those were her exact words but anyway). It just had a very unnatural vibe to it. And it was obvious she wanted to answer "No" to the last question whether she would still like to be in the showbiz when she's 50, she seems so unwilling to do it even now imagine her after 20 more years. I kinda hope for her own sake that she retires and just concentrates on her family, it's obviously her priority if it wasn't for the music.

Wow I could not disagree more. To me she sounded so close to the old Brit I was smiling the whole time.

Video looks cute. Fuck these super fast camera edits, glad there's going to be a choreography-only version to see what's actually going on.

I kinda agree and see what you're saying but I think she is happy, she's just medicated so that makes her seem a little low vibe. A lot of people are making a big deal out of he saying "maybe nothing" at the end but I think she likes to do what she does. There's no real reason to keep going if she didn't give a damn.

Exactly. Its obvious money is not an issue at all. She made $60M last year without lifting a finger. And I doubt JIVE pressures her into making anything given her condition besides Timberlake is on the same label and he has not delivered a single recording in years.

am I the only one REALLY feeling He About to Lose Me? I mean, like, I am REALLY feeling this; the chorus gives me chills, seriously! LOL It's the top bonus track, for me so far... def. no Phonography, but it's a winnar.

EDIT: oh, it reminds me of Teenage Dream, for some reason. LOL

Nope. Its also my fave bonus track as well!

Well, that was shit. Baically it was Slave 4 U part 2 but without any grimy sexiness, any dancing, any drive whatsoever. She is so piss poor, outside of her recordings she is useless and anyone who tries to defend her is blind and fooling themselves.

*goes back to pussy popping to Gasoline*

Love the video, but it could've been almost poignant if there were sound effects for all the destruction.

Hotney regardless.
