If they played in the EPL they'd be able to compete for the same players clubs like Tottenham, Everton and maybe even Arsenal gets to sign today.

Sunderland signed Bent, finally, and Huntelaar has joined Milan. Good moves by both teams. I can see either player thriving on those teams. Bent/Jones seems like it could be an awesome striking tandem.

The question is not about who'd be willing to move to Celtic if they were in the Premiership, it's about if they'd be able to compete with the teams they have now.

The Nats would be so much better if they could get third tier athletes. Right now they're probably 8 or 9th.bionic77 said:Prior to the airing of ths US/Mexico game let me run my radical idea for the US Men's team past some real soccer/football fans.
Would it be an unstoppable strategy to get someone with the height and leaping ability of Vince Carter and just stick them in the middle of the box on a good cross or corner kick? I don't think it would be possible for most teams to defend that strategy.
What say you?
Thanks. I actually went there first, thanks to a Google search, but I figured I'd ask in this thread to make sure. PEACE.bjaelke said:http://www.skysports.com/football/
You can sort news in the drop down menu (Leagues & Competition). Feed is next to the headline.

Van Persie suffered the injury following a challenge from Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini earlier in the month and the club initially announced an encouraging diagnosis of a six-week recovery period due to a tear in one of his ligaments.
However, further examinations have revealed much more extensive damage and Van Persie had his ankle put in plaster on Friday. He will now undergo surgery on the problem and Arsenal anticipate that he will be unavailable until the end of March at the earliest.
