RIP Sir Bob

An absolute legend and truely loved throughout the world of football.

Gutted.

Waved me and a mate accross the road once and gave me a cheeky wink when I said thanks.

RIP Sir Bobby

Some of my earliest football memories are of Italia 90, Sir Bobby on the bench and Gazza/Lineker on the pitch. Did anyone around at the time not have the England Training Shell Suits? :D

His grandson went to my old high school, so they were able to get him to open up the new sports hall they had built, which was nice of him.

A damn shame

Cocaine's a hell of drug...Anderson is average. Anybody can sit on a team put in a few descent performances and pick up the medals. It's called riding coat tails.

Let's ask Man City how much they would pay for Anderson and see if it would be more than Terry, Gerrard, Anelka, Ronaldo even Henry at his age.

Maybe he'll grow into a world class talent he's only 21 after all. But for now...he's good but not great. Sorry.
Agreed and Im a Man U fan.. Anderson has shown glimpses of greatness but he hasn't proven shit imo and if he doesn't do it this year we might not see him in a United kit again.

Anderson is about as good as Arteta and Barry. Not great, but pretty good.

My biggest fear is that he'll go the way of Djemba-Djemba.
Reminds me more of Kleberson, cause like Anderson, Kleberson had his moments.

Djembax2 was a disaster not as bad as say Veron or Barthez but yeah *shudders*

That liverpool comment hit a soft spot? Thanks for proving my point though

I'm not actually sure what your point is...actually. At first I thought it was that Anderson is great because he was on a team that won 2 League titles. Or that he's a better player than Gerrard, Terry and Anelka etc.

But actually, now I'm sure you just like being WRONG. *Yawn*

yeah that was his FIRST GOAL for Manchester United.

75 games for United and it took a friendly match for him to score a goal. Hes an attacking midfielder too..

Denilson plays as defensive mid for Arsenal and has scored more goals.

Anderson has as good a finishing capability as Ronaldo with his legs tied up. I bet Ronaldo would score more still.

Goddam Wilshire is amazing for a 17 year old. Hope Arsenal can hold onto him, and keep him injury free.

He really is very good for a 17 year old. Got a good eye for a pass, a good technique, and always looks very composed on the ball. If he had a bit more pace, he'd be even more amazing. Definitely one for the future. I just hope that the more eager bunch of Arsenal fans don't put too much pressure on him too soon.
