Concerning the whole Olympics drama:
Werder Bremen aren't the bad guys in this. All they care about are proper measures taken by the Brazilian FA and FIFA to ensure that nothing happens to Diego. They also want to ensure that they aren't completely screwed if something happens to Diego.
The Olympics are not part of the official FIFA international match calendar. That means there is no insurance for Diego, Werder Bremen still pays his wages for the entire tournament and Werder Bremen doesn't see a single penny for letting him participate. It's a loophole that favours the IOC and FIFA. Blatter doesn't give a flying fuck about the Olympic spirit he just hates paperwork and he hates to be reminded about his incompetence over and over.
This doesn't affect Wenger so he shouldn't even comment on it. If Fabregas would go to the Olympics and would break his foot in the opening game, well, then he has the right to comment on the matter and I'd be really interested if he still would have such a black & white view about the whole affair.
I'm glad Werder Bremen, Schalke and Barcelona didn't let FIFA assrape them. I know that they had given up on this whole matter after the laughable FIFA ruling, but they still pushed on and they got rewarded by the CAS.
Klaus Allofs, manager of Werder Bremen, wished Diego good luck in the meantime. There is no bad will involved. They wouldn't force him to come back if FIFA and the Brazilian FA didn't agree to their conditions. Rafinha on the other hand deserves to get his ass kicked, hard, as he once again proved today in the match against Belgium. It was one of the most atrocious dives I've ever seen. Absolutely disgusting.
The face of the Belgian player who was sent off for nothing was really haunting, it gave me shivers to see a young man being fucked over at what was probably the biggest moment in his life and that smiling son of a bitch Rafinha even had the balls to let the medical staff carry him off the field when the replay showed that there was zero contact between both players.
