Inler? That name annoys me for no rational reason.

does anyone else think Robinho is kinda overrated?
Not many people in England have seen José Antonio Reyes play often enough to have an informed opinion, but the general view is that he is the best of the three acquisitions made by the trio of Premiership title challengers. And rightly so. Last week, Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein was wondering if he was in the same league as Cristiano Ronaldo; in fact, while the Portugal midfielder is still learning to make his football simple, Reyes passed that level a long time ago.

I mean I've seen him play fantasticly but it doesn't seem to happen all that often.
I'd rather have van der vaart and he only cost madrid 11million.
Always enjoyed our games against Everton, I'm just glad Duncan Ferguson has retired. Weird that we're the only 2 teams not to have signed anyone (although we do have 3 new brazilians that were all signed in january). Thx for Rooney btw, blame Newcastle, you may well have had him another season otherwise. I think we're pretty much paid the max we could now. I believe Everton got like 3-5 million this summer from us due to the league and champions league.

He was still very good in Europe in his last season but a far cry from the player we signed and that he could have been. He scored the 2 goals for Real in their final game but even so he looked a shadow of his former self.
Shame, he had real talent. Talent alone won't do though.

that doesn't surprise meMrPing1000 said:The FM guys used to send their database to Konami for PES, but Konami were never that bothered about it.

Manchester United have made an approach for David Silva of Valencia. The players agents were contacted by fax, yesterday, and informed of the Premiership clubs interest in the 22 year old Spanish international.
Uniteds move for David Silva is timely: the player has been in talks with the new regime at the Mestalla over an improved contract offer, but negotiations have stalled, with both sides said to be some considerable distance apart in their respective bargaining positions. With talks rescheduled for later next week, the news that Silva has rejected Valencias latest offer has travelled fast and, in spite of Sir Alex Fergusons suggestion that Uniteds activities in the transfer market were over, it is clear that an opportunity to sign a player of the calibre of David Silva is too good to let pass for the current European Champions.
United face competition from FC Barcelona who are also preparing a bid for Silva. The Catalans have been waiting in the wings to see how the situation at the Mestalla unfolds, and with Valencia said to be in urgent need of funds to pay off a sizeable instalment on their massive debts next month, Barcelona had been optimistic that a bid approaching 25 million would be enough to secure the extremely talented Spanish international. Silvas prospective suitors were given further hope yesterday: with David Villas agent suggesting that it was increasingly likely that Valencias other most valuable asset would remain, it would appear that it is David Silva who will be sacrificed in order to bring some much needed cash to the financially trouble club.

MrPing1000 said:As good as Silva is, do we really need that kind of player?
MrPing1000 said:I was aware that one of them was considered better than the other, I presumed since he was getting games Rafiel was that one, until you mentioned it was Fabio a few pages back. . Although the way things are Rafiel has more chance of games tbh. It's weird now that they're here, I must have first heard about them 3 years ago
MrPing1000 said:As well as Brown has done (best defence in Europe last season) Gnev is just a better right back. If this injury can be taken care of (big if it seems) i'd say we could get 2 more years of first team out of him, which would match him up with the legend that is Dennis Irwin, who left when he was 35.
