That match sucked for Sunderland... the PK that Elano would end up taking was the result of a BS call IIRC and then Vassell scores THAT on you. That's pretty much the epitome of "one of those days". :lol

Nice, Elano owned Zambrotta again. It's nice seeing him getting up right away after making a misstake, last year he almost cried each time.

yeah, I think with a new DCM like Inler or Cana we will be fine. If we've lacked anything lately it's holding down the middle.

With a reserved DCM who lets Cesc do the attacking and hangs back a bit we could do well. We're fine on the flanks. Sagna and Clichy were aguably the best right and left backs in the league last year.

Johnson attempted to chat up one of my friends in Manchester, he apparently got a bit aggressive when she said "Reserves?" to his "I play for Man City" chat up line. :lol

Greetings from Vancouver. Hanging out up here for a wedding. Caught the US match before I left - we looked like crap, but I'll take the result. Hope they can play better tomorrow against the Dutch. Not sure what else is going on football-wise. Guess I'll catch up on all the news when I get home on Sunday.

:lol I've read several people saying that he use that line. But when dudes come up to him to shake his hand, he just runs away.

Dammit, Petrov out for several weeks, Corluka and Ireland might be sold, Bojinov, Vassell and Richards injured. Typical City already prepared to be used?
Dunne is also banned for the first 2 games.

It's the Milan legends grandfathers, they are all from the era when Italy united.

Yeah nothing to spectacular. I was very impressed with Brechet, he seems an excellent signing for our defense.

I just hope we sign a new striker soon, since both Lazovic and Koevermans are just not good enough.

Yeah, both keepers werent troubled to much, happy to see Moyes still gave the young lads a run out, badly need to buy players though in the next week

The equaliser was one of the best finishes I saw last season, better than Murphy's strike imo, which made it even more annoying.

Also, if the Ireland thing is true, what's the point? We have two (three incl. Diouf) right wingers, about a million central midfielders and half a dozen who can play on the left. Much rather nick one of your strikers or a defender if this money problem you lot seem to have is true...

Despite the fact that an equalizer was clearly coming in the second half I'm quite impressed. For a team with the average age of 19 to draw with Sevilla is pretty impressive. :)

Oh and Fabianski was very good today. Best I've ever seen him.
