Fair-weather, with pride!
I realized I had just suggested I'd give them a boxcar instead of a jawbreaker but fuck yeah up the irons. I prefer Fugazi but then I prefer Fugazi to most things. Got any other mid 90's hardcore punk I should check out?

TOTTENHAM are set to step up their bid to sign Vedran Corluka next week.

Spurs boss Juande Ramos is desperate to sign a top-class defender with the start of the season just a week away.

But the Blues will only let Corluka go if the move is right for both club and player - and that means Tottenham coming up with at least £7m.

Corluka, who was missing from the official team photo taken on Friday, was expected to play against AC Milan at Eastlands in the Thomas Cook Trophy clash this tea-time.Ramos made little progress in his bid to tempt Richard Dunne from City earlier in the summer, despite a £5m bid.

Corluka's versatility is attractive to the Spurs boss, who is set to lose Younes Kaboul to Portsmouth or Aston Villa, and has right-back Alan Hutton struggling with an ankle injury.

Blues boss Mark Hughes is sorting out his own targets, with the transfer deadline just three weeks away.

If this is true, can they just get fucking serious sometime? We bought him for 8 mil, do they think all thai's are retards? If anything, his value has gone up. The season starts soon and it's not like we have back-up, so why would we even sell to begin with.

That is unbelievable. Dandare, do you see what I mean? That was planned at least 15 posts in advance. Speechless.

Is this like Phil Collins rip off band or something? :lol

I like how James Power said all black people look the same in the thread about that. How is he not perma'd again?

I have always wondered the same thing. I really hate the guy.

:lol @ German Cup

Mönchengladbach is owning a club from the seventh league. 6:0 after 24 minutes and they don't show any mercy.

Tonight PSV is playing Everton. Should be interesting. Will Everton be playing at full strength? I would think so considering the Premier League start is next weekend.

I did not know Borussia was Prussia in Latin until this morning. It's nice to learn my one new thing a day before lunch... frees up my schedule.

The greatest flag ever.
The eagle and its accompanying iconography are a bit mundane but the coloring makes it bold (and thus good).

It's a shame that color arrangement is associated with so many bad things (e.g. skull & crossbones, Teutonic Order, SS, Cornwall)... we could use more black and white flags outside a race track!

PSV lineup against Everton:

-----------Isaksson
Salcido--Maza---Brechet--Zonneveld
-----Simons----Vd Leegte
Culina----Vayrynen---Amrabat
----------Lazovic

Not exactly our strongest possible lineup. Vd Leegte and Zonneveld in particular are total crap and will most likely not play at all during more important games. I'm sure that in the second half we'll see Koevermans, Afellay, Manco, Wuytens and Dzsudszak.

how is Afellay doing in pre-season? I've heard very good things about him.

Neville-------Yobo--------Jagielka------Baines

---------------Rodwell--Gosling
Arteta--------------Osman-------------Pienaar

--------------------Yakubu

...im predicting yakubu to not see much of the ball with that midfield

Very good, probably the best player PSV has. Though Amrabat has been excellent also.

Hoping we'll be able to keep Afellay for one more season before he leaves for an even bigger club.

I just can't believe Pienaar is playing for Everton. He was barely adequate during his periode at Ajax.

I'll keep an eye for Arteta.

City: Hart, Richards, Ball, Onuoha, Ben Haim, Garrido, Fernandes, Johnson, Elano, Vassell, Bojinov.

subs: Schmeichel, Ireland, Hamann, Dunne, Etuhu, Evans, Sturridge, Caicedo, Castillo.

Ball! Hellz yeah

I don't get why he doesn't let Evans or Sturridge show more of themselves as we already know what Vassell is worth, but it's nice to see The Phil on the bench.

edit
Wait wat Garrido on midfield
