Seems PSV is trying to lure Gudjohnsen to Eindhoven. I'd be thrilled to have him, but i don't think he'll come.

How's he doing at Barca anyway? Does Guardiola want to keep him?

this is a new thread and there's some new faces here. Don't alienate everyone this early off.

I would prefer to do this over PM's but i'm fine with this.

If I pay you say $100, would you grow a goatee like this, and wear arsenal fabregas top aswel as shorts, football socks & boots.

I don't know any transvestites sorry, and hadareud is you're reading you can wear what you like, you can just watch.

Do you have a steady hand and know how to use windows video maker?

On the surface, no. It's something much deeper, and much more erotic. The tension grows by the post as the forbidden lovers try to resist the powerful lust that grows inside of them. Underneath the hatred, a longing desire for the warm, immortal, erotic embrace of the forbidden love. And yet, each lover occasionally finds himself wavering, lost in thoughts of what could be. Blink, and you may miss the chance to witness the secretive, powerful force... of love.

I think we've come to expect a young squad to play for Arsenal in every match, friendly or not.

Good mid-range shot and knows how to keep the ball, but he's a little too slow. He could still be a good sub at Barcelona, but I dont know if they would keep him if a good offer is made. West Ham already tried to lure him with a 5m +/- deal and failed.

But he seems like a good guy, if he is not going to be given minutes here I would rather see him in another team.

Skip the first minute, hilarity ensues :lol

More info on the Philly stadium
Press Release said:
Keystone Sports and Entertainment, LLC, the Major League Soccer (MLS) Philadelphia 2010 ownership group, announced Rossetti Architects, an international design firm with offices in Detroit, Los Angeles, Denver, Newport Beach and Shanghai, and ICON Venue Group (ICON), the owner's representative based in Denver, Colo., will lead the design and construction of the $115 million stadium situated along the waterfront in Chester.

The 18,500-seat stadium will be constructed at the foot of the Commodore Barry Bridge in Chester, just 13 miles from downtown Philadelphia and accessible by public transit and Interstate 95. The multi-purpose stadium will feature an 11,000 square foot club, 38 suites ranging in size from 8 to 21 seats (plus an owner's suite with 29 seats), a special 2,000 seat zone for the Sons of Ben supporters club, and a party deck overlooking the field and river. Additionally, the new structure will have a waterfront park and plaza used not only for stadium entry, but also for city sponsored events such as festivals. The new stadium is the centerpiece of a $500 million entertainment, retail, residential and commercial development covering more than 60 acres along the historic Delaware River waterfront.
Party deck! Cool that they're putting in a dedicated section for the supporter's group.

Oh the humanity. I had forgotten completely about the awful "MLS anthems" until the Earthquakes released theirs yesterday. It features local rapper E-40.

The original batch are here on the Adidas site. :lol
Ours isn't bad, until the guy starts singing. Complete disappointment in Real SLC not using the Tabernacle Choir. Also LOL at Real SLC being the only team without a Star on their page. I am surprised that some of these actually aren't crap. I like the FC Dallas and NYRB one, and hell even the Galaxy one isn't bad.

I dunno the most I've done with one of them is have lunch.

Also, those lucky Philly fucks get a dedicated section? Fuck...

Figo is set to play aginst Bayern tonight, I can't believe this guy is still playing, so is Adriano. The inter team is supposed to be:

Toldo,Maicon, Burdisso, Cambiasso e Maxwell; Stankovic Zanetti e Muntari; Figo e Mancini ai lati di Adriano.

Bench: Orlandoni, Dacourt, Crespo, Suazo, Balotelli, Pelè, Bolzoni, Mei, Caldirola, Santon e Gerbo

Werder Bremen is playing against Levski Sofia at the moment and we already lost our first player due to a reckless tackle by one of their players. Rosenberg got kicked in the head and Fritz, Frings and Almeida had to be treated after being fouled.

Ironically enough Sofia lost two players due to injuries sustained without any Werder Bremen player near them.

When Chester Stadium opens in 2010, it is going to be the jewel of the MLS. I can't wait. The Philly franchise shows a lot of promise. Apparently the groundbreaking is going to be soon, accompanied by some new renders of what the stadium will look like.

And while we're discussing stadiums, I continue to be disturbed by the fact that the Seattle Sounders believe that Qwest Field will be their long-term home. It just doesn't seem like a good long-term home.

I get the feeling I'll hate the franchise (I'm not a big fan of any Philly teams), but the stadium is looking good.

What are the sight-line and seating like there? Does it look nice when set up for soccer?

Apparently John Terry was at the place I work today. Obviously it had to be my day off when the interesting stuff happens.

That title will belong to Red Bull Park actually.

I rehosted mine on photobucket, but it's eating bandwidth quickly. Half of the OP images on tinypic are down, too. Guess I'll work on that this afternoon.

I might do that since I was gifted a pro account by someone that works there. Do they ever crack down on images that use a lot of bandwidth? There's a bunch of text in the TOS about how you're not supposed to host avatars, banners, etc... on their site. Has anyone had problems with this?

I've never been to Qwest (well, I have, but not during a game,) so I can't know for sure. Now, it's hosted several international friendlies, so I doubt it's that bad. The big soccer Seattle kids claim that it's a nice place to watch soccer, and that sharing the field with the football team won't be a problem. Apparently, the paint they use for football lines can be easily removed, so you won't be seeing any football marking on the field when the Sounders play. Now, I can vouch that Qwest is beautiful (it's certainly no Giants Stadium), and in a terrific location.

My concerns would be that it's too big (the stadium is really, really big), and that the fans are pretty far from the field. Also, ugh, FieldTurf.
