Ok cool we know the conferences now.

I probably will not take Wisconsin for my online dynasty. I just wanted to see what conferences are out here so I know what teams to choose from. Since this is an extended dynasty I'm probably going to end up taking a shit team and attempt to build them up into a powerhouse. More than likely fail miserably but I'll try!

Actually scratch that, leave me at wisconsin for now! :lol

I see DCX is taking Ohio State and we can perhaps have some epic season over season rivalries! :lol

Just don't forget to give me Virginia Tech as one of my non conference games every year! :D

i feel kind of dirty for not taking Cal or UCLA but i have no alliances in college football! plus i want to be competitive in the first season as well.

i was leaning towards florida but that division is going to be killer (plus with malley taking GA it was filled).

now i get to face DCX and mrbob! easy money! /john connor

Open/Changeable dates from what I can see are:

8/30: all 9 teams
9/06: All 9 teams (USC shows a bye week there)
9/13: 6 teams (Georgia, VT, and Clemson are in Conference)
9/20: Wisconsin shows a bye week, VT, Alabama, LSU is in conference, and USC shows a mid week game(Game might have something different)
9/27: Only VT has an OOC game
10/04 Only VT has an OOC game, Clemson shows a midweek game afterwards on the 9th, Georgia and LSU show a bye week
10/25: Clemson shows a bye week
11/01: Alabama and LSU have an OOC game. OSU, Penn State, VT shows a bye week
11/22: Only Wisconsin has an OOC game, Alabama shows a Bye Week
11/29: Georgia, Clemson and USC has an OOC Game (Rivalry games)

That's all roughly correct for now.

last few questions/comments before we get it started tonight:

1. if you have ANY REQUESTS on people you want to play for your open games please PM/IM/Post here tonight or else i'm going to come up with it myself.

2. heisman or all american?

3. sliders will be used. the ones that i can GUARANTEE will be used: kickoff power drastically increased, punt power drastically increased, FG power decreased, FG accuracy decreased, Pass Blocking decerased, Defensive line increased.


p.s. i don't know how we will handle disconnected games yet. also, no resetting against the CPU. if they stomp you then too bad, deal with it.

I just played Marshall in the second highest difficulty with Wisc and crushed them 48-3. If we are going for the long haul I say we use the highest difficulty.

mrbob thats all well and good. wait until you play a highly rated team on heisman and the CPU Robo-QB obliterates your defense.

i played usc last night testing out teams (with penn state) and wish i played through the whole game to save this play:

3rd and 7. i call a blitz, it works perfectly. the QB playactions and my LB is literally in his face as he comes out of the fake, he IMMEDIATELY rockets the ball to the TE in heavy coverage perfectly go his outside shoulder completing it for 20. he hadn't even turned around from the PA when he released the ball! come on dude! fucking hate playing the CPU.

but i will put it on heisman. just have to be careful for the upsets!

p.s. i will say this again but everyone please remember there are definite "problems" with the game (bone head plays/angles by the D mostly), so please be prepared to deal with these. i doubt anyone is going to take outright advantage of the AI and cheese all day (and tell me if they do), but you're going to just have to live with the "MY LB WAS RIGHT THERE WHY DIDNT HE SPIDER PICK THAT!" plays.

I'd say All American with Sliders. Haven't even tried Heisman yet, and I still have problems running ;P

PS: Can we change player names once we start? If you use that Roster that you mentioned earlier, besides a few players I know of having the incorrect name, I actually have 4 players named as 2 people (I have 2 Devonta Boltons and 2 Burton Scott's).

i have to specifically add people when i create the dynasty and assign them teams. although i suppose i could create it now and add them in later.

let me finish this piece of shit film Reincarnation and then i will do it! i still want to give time for livewire to tell me which team he wants and for malley/az to add me!

sorry i was watching that crapfest of a movie. i'm tired of these shitty asian horror movies. i used to like them. now all of them are the same... creepy kid or creepy girl gets murdered and their ghosts are angry. whatever!

does anyone know if i can assign the team to the other dudes later without affecting the league?
