Anasui Kishibe said:I think it has more to do to the fact Indiana Jones has always been patriotic-free. I don't remember a single flag waving scene in the other movies, or characters talking about how great America is etc etc, and the third one had an American as villain. So I'm not saying it's annoying or something, it's just that Indy never showed such cheesy stuff. Then again, I'm not bothered

Wes said:Not only Day One, but minute fucking one. Holy hell this is going to be soooo good.
MaverickX9 said:The scene in question, I believe, was when Cate and Harry are driving in those jeeps on the edge of the cliff.
It looked a little fake to me, so I guess that is what people are probably talking about.

Speculator said:I dont know about that patriotness your talking about....I believe those are American soldiers that are confronting Indy
MaverickX9 said:Remember, though, that the old ones barely had any scenes in the United States.
Zilch said:Good luck getting ANY editor to cut a film like they did 20 years ago. Styles have changed, film cutting just HAS TO BE dynamic and quick to attract any sort of crowd nowadays. Just the facts. Indy might be an old character, but this movie wasn't made with just the nostalgic original fans in mind.

Admit it, it will be better than temple of doom at least. If only based on those clips.PhoenixDark said:Not bad, although the best part was the montage. I refuse to get my hopes up but my heart still started pumping once Indy picked up the hat
The CGI was overbearing even in those quick clips

good point, third one being the most consistent probably. But still, it's the cheesy panning-flag's point of view that could annoy some. Out of place for an Indiana Jones movie if you get what I mean. Not terribly annoying, but Indy doesn't need such stuff in my opinion-not that it's going to ruin the movie-
Speculator said:first scene in the trailer where they surround indy and when he fights them in the warehouse. It says "US Army" on their shirt and trucks.

The jeep chase just looks plain weird. I still don't like the Kasinski look for an Indy film, but the trailer does make the movie seem like a fun ride, and all.Xenu

I thought King Kong as well. Something about the motion blue effect that ILM is using just seems "off."PhoenixDark said:What about the chase scene on the edge of the mountain, which gave me King Kong flashbacks, as well as one of the temple scenes and the scene with the rocket launcher.

ManaByte said:Fuck the age haters too. I really want to see a 80 year old Indy kicking ass in the 70's. Like the Russians are hiding some artifact in a Disco and Indy has to go in and kick some ass.
