I thought Nightz said to sim his cpu games? I just saw that Smokey has one too, though. So that's just Smokey and Wellster/Frenchie? Let's move it, gentlemen!

Wonder what Bruce Gradkowski is rated. :\ I'm pretty shocked Campbell is 83. I thought he'd get a huge Raider downgrade.

Yeah, 87-89 is where I would have him. 89 is honestly too high, but whatev, everyone is too high.

Personally I wouldn't have any 99 players except MAYBE the MVP of the previous year.

Just wanted to post some videos of rookie Greg Schuetz's debut against the Giants. First he shows his rookie form by missing an open receiver by quite a bit.
http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/21531840

But then makes up for it by throwing three TD passes to give the Broncos an early lead.

Now I can only hope that he has a repeat performance against the Raiders.

Why is Heath Miller so high? He got good production, but so did Zack Miller and Greg Olsen. Curious to where they put Kevin Boss, who was a 83 on '10, and Visanthe Shiancoe, who had over 500+ yards and 11 TD's. I'd wager 83-85 again. Still would prefer guys like Boss/Shank to be 77-78, while others like the Miller Boys, Olsen, Celek, and Daniels to be 82-83. The best TE I used in Madden '10 was Carlson while subbing against LJ, and he was a beast. His rating couldn't have been any higher than 87-88, either, I think.

Looks like they're going away from their perceived normal Madden Ratings, i.e. when 85+ is when a player is Pro Bowl worthy/great, 70-84 is average or slightly above average, and 69(-) is when they are poor starters, role players, or depth.

Celek is far better than 82 or 83. 1000 yards and 8 TD's is worth about where he is rated
You're thinking in terms of the current Madden ratings, but Striker is talking in different terms. If he's putting Celek in the same league as Daniels, then that's pretty good. And he's putting Boss in at 77.

I would also prefer that system. My system would be:

60-64= special teamers
65-69= serviceable
70-74 = average
75-79 = good players
80-84 = pro bowlers
85-89 = great
90-95 = all-pro
95-97 = all-decade
98-99 = HOF caliber

the only reason VD should be rated lower than anyone is his catch rating. he improved on his hands but still drops them here and there. as far as everything else no one should be close to him. i don't know a TE that is in his league speed-wise (maybe jermichael finley from gb), and he is just a massive guy. top that with tying the all-time TD record last year and i don't think its fair that tony gonzalez or jason witten gets rated higher because of his name.

then again i am incredibly biased!

VD is garbage! We should go by the PFF ratings! They'd go like this:

Kevin Boss - 100
Todd Heap - 99
Jason Witten - 99
Mercedes Lewis - 99
Anthony Fasano - 99
Jason Witten - 98
Dallas Clark - 98
Tony Gonzalez - 96
Alge Crumpler - 96
Antonio Gates -96
Jim Kleinsasser - 94
Chris Baker - 94

Vernon Davis - 57
