Lackluster game by the Habs again. Kovalev was scary slow, Koivu's game was atrocious.. Tanguay missing is not helping us. Carey Price has an awful game. Komisarek has stopped throwing the body for months, and is now a defensive liability to give up the puck.

Positives? Some young guys like Pacioretty, Tender had a great game, Lapierre too. And Schneider and Markov, I guess. Fuck, that's slim.

Congrats to Marty.... He is a machine.... I have a feeling he is going to loft that win record so high up that it will be up there with Gretzky's goal record eventually. He could easily play another 2-3 more years (I think he is what 36). He averages about close to 40 wins a season...

Could he get it up to 650 wins? holy shit if he does...

Awesome night for Geno and Gonch. Watching the post game report and they had some stats up for Staal since the coaching change, and he's been tearing it up. Glad to see him playing well when it matters.

And the Flyers still haven't won in the JLA since 1988 :lol

What a game by Datsyuk btw. Crazy beautiful play on the Franzen goal.

Don't worry you have 3 games in-hand. The Sharks fans know all about this.

Yeah that's true. As long as Philly can make the playoffs and somehow avoid playing Pitt or NJ, I think they'll win the East.

Awww, come on. You know you want to see Pens/Flyers first round match-up. It would be an epic battle.

Looks like Turris picked a good night to turn it on. Probably his best game of the season.

He's actually signed on for another 3 years with the Devils, and yeah, he's 36. It's an incredible achievement and if he stays healthy, I think 600 is a realistic goal. 650 might be pushing it, heh.

3-1
For fuck's sake, against Phoenix? Seriously? -_-

I want any one in the first round not named Boston or Marty Brodeur. Don't care if it is Washington, Philly or NYR. All of them would be wars regardless.

Fucking Leafs...dropped down to 9th in the Tank for Tavares.

Don't worry. They have to face mid to high level teams from now until the end of the season. Well except for Ottawa but they should be above the Leafs by then.

Full marks to the Dallas Stars for rolling over as the Canucks set a new record for home ice wins. It would have even better if -

...wait? Who's that golfing? Why, it's Steve Ott!

What strength of character! What perseverance! What grit! To continue working on his golf game, day in and day out, despite a broken hand! Getting ready for the post-season in tried and true Stars fashion!

We the victors salute YOU, Steve Ott.

:D New franchise record and within three points of Calgary. Lots of dumb penalties though...

9 shots on 7 power plays. Couldn't win an offensive faceoff when it mattered. Uninspired hockey overall tonight from Dallas, especially in the 2nd period. If they are going to play like this, then I don't even want to watch four ugly, miserable, losing games during the first round in April. Then again, I may not even get the chance! :-(

THE MAN HAS A BROKEN HAND

Seriously - Canucks owned the Stars in the faceoff circle, penalty killing, time of possession. All that without Burrows getting a point. Frankly, the final score was too kind to Dallas. Clearly outmatched from the opening horn.

Turco had a good game. I'm sure he wanted to impress Luongo in the hopes of being allowed to learn from the master during the 2010 Olympics. Some day, lil' buddy!

Oh yeah, Chicago lost tonight! MOVING ON UP, WEEZY

Thank you Vancouver for showing up to play tonight. Sharks sure as fuck didn't in the first period. Div champs thanks to help =\. Its like a consolation prize just for coming to the rink tonight.

Fuck no! What else are we going to look forward to during the offseason? We got to savor this shit.
I'm going to the game on Thursday...so I gotta be selfish and hope so. Of course I'm also hoping they have some division champs shirts to go with the playoff shirts and the mystery pucks for the night.

Glad to see the Pens finally putting some games away in regulation. Tied for fourth, woo hoo! But damn, things are still so tight in standings.

Meanwhile, Satan cleans up in his first game in the minors with a 4 point night. Dude is awesome....against lesser competition.

Yep, 'twas a damn fine game. I had to choose between tickets to this game and Sunday's Red Wings game, guess which ones I picked :(
