I wouldn't rage. I'd be annoyed, though. I'd be perfectly happy with Thompson doing nothing else. This is a good team, no need to spend frivolously.

But with everyone else in the NFC North making huge moves I'd be at least a little worried.

I'm interested if he does anything, the FAs that'd make sense to re-sign would take smaller deals now, but he's Ted so I doubt it.

I'm hopeful about everything but Colledge's replacement.

And cutting all the LBs is a little strange.

The report is Peyton Manning takes less than he was offered ($20m a year) to ensure that Colts can either re-sign free agents like Addai or go pick up some new players. Shows once again that they may as well just make Manning the coach of that team especially after Caldwell cost them so much last year.

he's from pittsburgh, so i'd assume he's a steelers fan. he did tend to put a positive spin about the bears when i watched espn(before nfl network), so he could just like the team for the history or something.

People keep thinking the NFC West will always be down. Rams and Cards are definitely going to be better this year. 49ers could be better if Harbaugh can make Alex Smith decent. Seattle will definitely go backwards, but they may be tanking for a QB in the 2012 Draft

I like them more this way, rather than squished together like they used to be. NCAA's are a little more average, but the spaces between them are small.

Yeah, most Rams wouldn't admit it. I'm pretty scared of the 9ers as of now. The West will be down for 2 more years, I think we'll be pretty strong after that.

The civility is funny in comparison to how the NFC North fans treat each other. NFC West is such a cobbled together division, there just aren't any real rivalries.

Our D is much better than yours, so are our receivers, idk about your OLine but Ill assume ours is better too. Idk who the fins RBs are gonna be yet. Im sure your special teams kills ours though..

Recievers better? Only if marshall doesn't skip his meds. RB's, Shanny can turn a turd into a 1000 yd rusher. O-line is a toss up, we are replacing 2 or 3 staerters. D u prob. got us there. Special teams I think your overestimating us, Banks is good but the new rules will probably negate that. Besides I was never arguing we were better, both teams ain't sniffing the playoffs.

Also, I like seeing stuff like the Barber signing happening. The RB market is THIN. Which means Bradshaw's going to have to swallow some of that money he thinks he's going to make and take what the Giants are offering.

I don't even remember White last year. Man our O-Line had so many injuries last year. Hopefully with Moffit, Carpenter, Okung and Gallery we should be a little more stable.

We upgraded our line, and our WR and re-signed pretty much all our key free agents.

Fun fact, the Seahawks are currently the SECOND YOUNGEST team in the NFL. The only team that is younger is Tampa.
