bluemax said:I don't even remember White last year. Man our O-Line had so many injuries last year. Hopefully with Moffit, Carpenter, Okung and Gallery we should be a little more stable.
We upgraded our line, and our WR and re-signed pretty much all our key free agents.
Fun fact, the Seahawks are currently the SECOND YOUNGEST team in the NFL. The only team that is younger is Tampa.
FrenchMovieTheme said:you guys have no QB. i would take kaepernick over any of the qb's on your roster and kaepernick hasn't played a down in the NFL.
take away leon washington and you guys were a 4 win team last year. i don't see the seachickens doing much this year but then again i didn't see them doing much last year.... and they didn't except they play in the nfc west and the saints suck dick
bluemax said:Did the world's foremost Alex Smith apologist just try and diss another team's QB situation?
I'm sorry FMT, I think your tiny hands made your post impossible to read.
Edit: If you think Kaepernick is more NFL ready right now than T-Jack or Clipboard Jesus then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Dude has the physical tools but he played in a gimmick offense in a weak conference and had some good RBs around him as well. Unless Harbaugh plans on running the pistol and playing Wyoming every weekend Kaepernick has some work to do.

David Anderson standup.
yankeehater said:I dont think they will. Eskin today said they still hold DJax's rights after this year so they are going to let him play out this year and then franchise him.

Hooray new cap rules.
JABEE said:I want the Eagles to sign Stephen Tulloch.
Soroc said:Just woke up to find out Rex Ryan is personally picking up Todd Heap from the airport. Nice weapon for Sanchez.
Keller + Heap dynamic. Heap could be Ryans answer to Edwards. 6'5 TE for the end zone and to stop teams from double teaming Holmes. Moves Cotchery to #2 WR possibly.
Would like to see Heap signed today, most people that go into Florham Park don't come out without a contract LOL.

Still haven't seen this updated on the tracker I've been using, but if so that is a big HELL yes, especially since we'd apparently been considered out of the running earlier this week. If we land both Tulloch and Barnett, this would go for me from "might as well not have done anything" to "heck yeah we came through this pretty well."Plinko said:Detroit Lions signed Stephen Tulloch!
YES YES YES
Nick Barnett is also in town today. TOTAL revamp on the linebacker corps.
The Lions did not immediately return a phone call about the signing, and Tullochs agent, Drew Rosenhaus, hung up when reached by a reporter.

Still a bit worried that we haven't heard any word about attempts to re-sign Chris Houston, but maybe at least we can put together a nasty front-7. We'll need to force quick passes because any deep threat will destroy us otherwise.
Plinko said:I think that's a good signing for the Jets. He's been away for a while but he can help Sanchez.

Hi guys, I started to follow NFL last season & I can't wait for the 2011 Season to finally start!
In the UK it's pretty had to keep up to date with weekly games so I was wondering if in the States there's a weekly round-up show with highlights from every game?
I would have to download it via torrent as there isn;t anything shown on british TV.
Any help would be great!
effzee said:It is a good signing but why not bring back Edwards? Cancer in the locker room?
Plax staying in NYC will create a great media circus.
I just hope Mario and Hakeem stay healthy. I am fine with guys like Hixon, Jernigan, and Cruz as 3, 4, and 5, but they can't be counted on to start for long lengths. Hixon might be able to a game or so, depending who the Giants face, but the depth gets smaller with Barden questioned.Nemesis121 said:I am glad that's over, i never wanted Plax back...
TheFatOne said:Didn't it take a full year before Vick was back in shape? Don't think this move will work out for the Jets, but like the Pats low risk/high reward.

In hindsight? Was there ever a time when that looked like a good deal?yankeehater said:The Seahawks have named TJack their starter this year. That trade for Whitehurst is not looking good in hindsight.
Plinko said:I'm trying hard not to get too overhyped about this Tulloch signing. I was excited when we brought Julian Peterson in and he was absolutely terrible.
That said, it would be so nice to see a competent LB group this year. Would be the first time Detroit fielded one in almost ten years. That front 7 could be near the top of the league.
Edit: It's a one-year deal worth $3.25 million.
Ugh. Next year we're going to be right back where we started.
I kind of get the one-year deals, though--contracts are being way overblown this year. I wonder if they're just taking a chance that next year teams will be closer together under the cap range that there won't be as many giganto-deals.
BigAT said:In hindsight? Was there ever a time when that looked like a good deal?
NFL.com said:The Pats will visit the Steelers, host the Giants, visit the Jets, host the Chiefs, visit the Eagles, then host the Colts. Each of those teams won at least 10 games in 2010, finishing with a combined record of 63-33.

After Seahawks asked LB Lofa Tatupu to take a paycut, he asked them to release him. The team now plans to do so, albeit reluctantly.
