I got offered a trade which I think Im going to reject, but I figured Id get a few other opinions on it. Im pretty confident with my team as is. Im only worried Jacobs will get injured.

The Trade
Marvin Harrison + Thomas Jones for Brandon Jacobs + DeSean Jackson.

Current Team
QB: Drew Brees *I had J Gar too put hes not starting anymore
WR: Plaxico Burress, Santana Moss, DeSean Jackson, Bobby Engram, Kevin Walter, Jerry Porter
RB: Marion Barber III, Brandon Jacobs, Edgerin James, Chris Perry
TE: Chris Cooley
K: Nate Kaeding
DEF: Dallas, playing ATL vs KC this week though

Im not sure that Harrison will add me all that much to my receiving depth since Engram should back soon and Peyton's new go to guy seems to be Wayne and a bit of Gonzales. Im thinking DeSean might end up putting up good numbers throughout the season even when Curtis comes back. Jacobs though is a beast, but my concern is on his durability. Jacobs also doesn't seem to get much in the way TDs. I think Ill wait till after the games on Sunday to decide. I dont know anything about Jones, except that he plays for the Jets, so I cant really evaluate him.

How are you even considering this!? HELL. NO.

DeSean is much more valuable than Harrison is at this point, and Jacobs is the better RB, regardless of the committee situation.

Which two would you start: LT, MJD, Julius Jones, Forte?
Tough, because even if he is not 100% LDT kinda sorta deserves the nod.

If it was me:

Julius Jones against STL

Forte against TB.

Ya, I'm pretty sure I going with JJ. I'm nervous about Forte since Turner had a tough time running on the Bucs last week. MJD has gone off on Indy before and they are without Sanders but Jag's O line sucks. And you're right, how do you not start LT. Please just shoot me.

Well I was at like 90% reject, but I just wanted to make sure Id ask some people who knew more about football first. You've echoed what I've thought.

DeSean > Marvin. Jacobs > Jones. You'd be a fool to take that trade.

Forte and Jones. Though if LT wanted to clean the sand out of his vagina, I'd start him over Jones. But since LT loves being a sandy vagina these days, play Jones.

quick fantasy question from someone who has never played fantasy football: If you have a RB or WR on your team and that player returns a punt or kickoff for a TD do you get points for that?

Usually not. Some leagues do return yards and TDs but most don't, and I don't think it's in any standard default ruleset I know of.

Just to echo what others have said...yeah, that's not a fair deal.

Incidentally man, why do you have kickers on the trading block? :lol

so in other words Reggie Bush is a completely worthless fantasy player?

Wow. I'm sure team success factored in (bizarrely, since in the NFL a QB or RB's stats are only helped when his team is good), but I didn't realize how dominant Tiki was that year. I'm convinced, let's get a time machine and rig the voting for him.
I always wondered what Tiki's numbers would have been if he had learned how to carry the ball earlier and wasn't such a huge douche.

But then he would be Tiki Barber. His douchiness fueled him.

Do you think he ever thanked Coughlin for making him a respectable running back?

Haha, it evened out though. Those jerks on the right side ALWAYS fucked up, even with a tight end and fullback. >:(
I don't think I would have ever run to the opposite side of Hutch. :P Still, even on that side, Alexander was hard to tackle. He'd fall forward and get 5. :\

Some do give you points for that, but the reason why a lot don't is because DST is given special team points.

Tiki isn't going to the football hall of fame, but if there is a douchebag hall of game he would be a first ballot entry along with Tom Brady, Ray Lewis, Bart Scott, and Bellicheat.

What Hall of Fame would Leonard Little get inducted into?

Hah, I was just screwing around with that. I missed that draft since I went to Magic Mountain and the autodraft gave me two kickers. Just feels sad to just cut one of them since they are both real good, but Ill probably cut one when I need another player.

Jones & LT (IF you have Sproles in reserve).
Otherwise, I'd probably go MJD/Jones instead of Forte/Jones.
Sanders being gone and the Jags' O-Line problems kind of cancel each other out.
MJD has been able to run well against Indy when both of those factors are played in, so I'd have him out there.

The point difference on kickers is so minimal it's not worth the bench to keep them over the season. Draft them last round and then don't sweat losing one on bye week, if you ask me.

What's the best source for me to check up to the minute status on L.Tomlinson for today??

I need to know whether to start him or sit him at the last minute...

Yeah, same here with McFadden since I have Michael Bush on the bench. I know he took an injection today, but it's so difficult to judge how this will all play out.

ESPN just said that McFadden will play. Fargas is out so this will be a big week for him and Michael Bush.

If I knew David Patten was going to play horrible against DEN then I wouldn't have any problem starting both. But with Patten being #1 receiver now, it's made this a difficult decision for me. Oh well, I think I'll keep Patten in and McFadden.

I figure the Saints will go after Denver's pass defense, which isn't too good, while McFadden and M. Bush will have to battle Buffalo's excellent run D. At least that's my plan and thoughts/hopes.

What's even a tougher decision is to either play Dallas Clark or Robert Royal...<3 fantasy football

And Ray Lewis right?

Fuck if there are two players I irrationally hate they are Ray Lewis and Jerramy Stevens.

I understand not liking guys like Jeremy Stevens and Ray Lewis. But hate? My hatred is reserved for convicted murderers still making millions.

Sweet! I can't wait to see what Michael Bush can do.

That's it, I'm benching LT. I don't want to hear anyone bitching about losing their QB Tom Brady anymore! I took LT first and who knows how long this sulking bastard will ride my bench. And I'll still win!

I knew I should have just taken Westbrook #1. I have a rule in fantasy that I have to actually like the player (or at least not actively dislike them) if I'm going to root for them every week. I broke it with LT and now I'm paying the price.

Ahhh, I love 1pm NFL games so much. Even more so when the Pats are playing at that time. :D

Hopefully since Brady is out some of those late season flex scheduling games get changed from Monday/Sunday night to 1pm.

I have this rule too, which is why I have never and will never draft LT.

11-4 last week. 22-9 overall.

Copy/Paste
KC @ ATL - KC is so bad
OAK @ BUF - Been saying it all year, Buffalo is a good team
TB @ CHI -Almost wanna take TB with Hester out, but I like them especially at home
CAR @ MIN -I'm not ready to crown Carolina or give up on Minn yet.
MIA @ NE <-- Survival Pick, I hate to blow this pick so early, but this is the only sure bet win other than Giants who I already used.
CIN @ NYG -Bengals Offense is in for some pain
HOU @ TEN - almost wanna take Houston since they need that motivation win, but Titans D is just to punishing
ARI @ WAS - I Believe in Kurt Warner
DET @ SF - I'd like to be wrong
STL @ SEA - I dunno why, I just am.
NO @ DEN - Two gimped Defenses, Denver has the bigger guns with Colston out
PITT @ PHI - Game of the week. I've got more Eagles than Pitt in fantasy so i'll hope here.
JAC @ IND
CLE @ BAL - More Braylon drops will lead to a demand for Brady Quinn's emergence in the coming weeks. And Derek Anderson will not be at fault.
DAL @ GB - Its a shoot out, Dallas has the better ground game though.
NYJ @ SD - I'm not a delusional fan. Even with LaSandy Vaginason they'll win.

That interview with Keyshawn, Fritzgerald, and Boldin was awesome.
Key = 17-3 and Boldin has 6 touches and you have one....How would that make you feel?
Fritz = That I need more touches.
::::Key & Fritz Highfive:::::lol

Does anyone really think Greenbay is capable of beating the Cowboys?

Thats actually a genuine question. They were a great team last year, but I haven't really been able to get a bead on them this year. I've focused Rodgers who's played great, but defensively do they have what it takes to get it done against the Boys?

I hope they do...
