I suppose...personally I don't make it nearly as big a deal as Wiimote potentially crashing through $2000 HDTVs and broke ass games, but I guess I'd take a new case.

I thought you were saying you wanted a second case for the 4th dvd lol.

Non-issue really...a lot of you have your panties in a bunch IMO

TBH, i was sooo looking foward to this game that i refuse to check out any reviews that might sway me into NOT buying the game. So i really have no clue as to what they say about the game in regards to load times

In light of the comment from GI and the criticisms of the Gamespot review, I would have to say that I've noticed no unbearable loading times nor framerate problems yet.

I thought Blue Dragon's shitty packaging was the pinnacle but...damn MS...I'm amazed.
Maybe I'll replace one of my 24 box-sets with Lost Odyssey pictures and roll with that.

Oh and lolz @ the Gamespot review.

I'm crying at the same time, though, because fucking hell if MS didn't just give all the real fans supporting titles like this a big ol' finger in the eye.

Face it, folks: Microsoft does not care about us nor care what we think or want. Decisions like this are unfathomable to me. I hope someone from 1Up is reading this thread and makes some news about it. Everyone should email Major Nelson as well. Get exposure on this kinda thing. At any rate, I'm still buying the game and I'm sure I'll love it, but it's decisions like this that make NOT buying 360 games easy.

Do I lack any decent reading skills because I do not get the whole "Gamespot review hahaha" that so many are throwing out. It was written very good and didn't go out of its way to trash the game for no reason what so ever. The score was fair and he backed up his pluses and minus' real well. Is it because he liked Persona 3 and Eternal Sonata? Even a handful people on this board seemed to like Eternal Sonata.

I do like that the US version fits in a single width DVD case, but the innards are indeed retarded. Some DVD movie box sets now squeeze I think 6 disks in, with each disk mounted on its own spindle. I can't believe MS won't make some cases like that.

Wow....Thats pretty lame how they couldn't even bother to make a case that holds all the discs...

Also...I believe i asked this in the 1st LO thread but i can't recall the response....

Do the characters have special attacks or anything like that? Or is it just choose attack and watch the same animation over and over again?

I can only assume the reviewer has never played an RPG before.

And just when you think you can finally get down to some real adventuring, Kaim will look at something and cry, triggering a cutscene about his memories.

If you don’t skip these scenes, you’re treated to 10 screens of nothing but text, telling you some random snippet about Kaim’s past that has nothing to do with the game.

I hope nobody is put off by this rubbish.

See that is something to laugh at and brush off. Now some decent and truthful things are said in that review if you sit down and read it (not many will) like the detailed information about the ring equipment during battles but a lot of it is untrue. Not Gamespot's which is actually quite good.

I did buy BD, and my discs got scratched because of the terrible case. I'm NOT buying LO because of the case. It's nothing but bullshit.

What is the Australian case like? I might consider paying a premium if the case is good. Shipping from the US isn't looking like a great idea with the disks flying around inside and I'm not a fan of the Japan case (or a non-english instruction book).

I can say it's all PAL copies btw as far as I know. I have a UK promo and it's the same as he AU one. I've also got a Chinese copy and that's the same - so I'm assuming it's just the US that got lampooned with this shitty box.

I STILL don't have a case solution for my copy of Blue Dragon and they're pulling this shit again?? I've always laughed at people who'd greatly exaggerated the whole good/bad boxart matter, but this is just... wow.

Between the idiocy behind this decision, my growing backlog and limited gaming time it looks like I won't be buying LO anytime soon.

I just came back from a friends place, playing Lost Odyssey. I had an amazing time for the 5 hours I played it, and I did a scan over at gamerankings.

Umm. What? This game is getting critically savaged. Gamespy's review sounds like they didn't even play the same game. I seriously don't get what's going on here.

Gamespys review is the only one really holding it down, otherwise it would be at an 80+% average.

It's seriously insane. Some of these sites gave Enchanted Arms better scores. I swear I feel like I played a completely different game.

season 6. you had to apply for it on fox's website. it was in response to people complaining that the head cases sucked ass and were very awkward. maybe MS will respond to this!

As much as I'd love to agree with that, no. GamesRadar (6), Gamepro (3.25/5), and G4 (3/5) say otherwise.
