I have no clue what I'm missing, but it's GOT to be something in Numara or Uhra. I've gone over every dungeon with a fine-tooth comb.
And yes, the auction house is closed.
Damn do I hate leaving a game with only one achievement left, but I don't see myself using Split Infinity's FAQ to go through every single area in the game again, especially without a "no encounters" item.
Damn.

Scenester said:so youve recieved the treasure tip Im assuming? I remember it being to the SE of the Grand Staff Island underwater, it should be marked with a glowing cross on the world map.

Any tips for this part?

And ZOMG Ive just been reading a walkthrough and I got the location of a chest I know I missed, now Im horny as to get home and check it out :O
Zzoram said:So are there a lot of items you can permanently miss? I read there are 2 spells you can permanently miss, and apparently a few items? What about Dreams, if you miss some can you go back and find them?
Scenester said:yep the only things you can miss are those two spells, every thing else (dreams included) you can go back and collect
FateBreaker said:OK, I know that I'm being repetitive here, but I just don't care. These 1000-year-dreams are so amazing. Amazing. I would pay $60 just for them alone. I think that it's better reading a chunk of them at once (at an inn, or something), instead of reading them when they sporadically pop up throughout the game. Anyone else feel this way? For anyone who has skipped them, though: read them. You *will* be touched.
Messages from a Weakling (or whatever) was excellent.
Quazar said:So what's enchanters mask for? Got it in shop in Saman.
Scenester said:take it to where you fight the boss in the Temple of Elightenment, I havent done it myself yet but I hear it doesnt affect the Treasure Trove achievement so I dont think I'll bother

By this day and age, all sewers should be banned from all video games.
Fucking muck.
FateBreaker said:I agree, kind of, but I thought LO's dungeon level designs were quite good. I mean, I can remember tons of RPGs where they're just a nauseating labyrinth with terrible music. (Seriously, tons.)
Orodreth said:I like them, with their little traditional touches but they really are a little too pompous, which paired with Ming´s taste for a rather kitsch dresscode breaks the believable, more realistic and well done design on most of the rest imho.
Zzoram said:Halp!
At the end of the Black Cave, there's some red boss that has tons of minions. How do you kill that thing? Even with the enemy GC down to 0 wind magic does 1 dmg to it, and melee attacks barely chip away at it, but it's minions slaughter me, and keep getting summoned if I kill them. I'm lvl 28.
Orodreth said:Any idea if there is merchandising in terms of figurines, art books, etc.. available?
Make sure you´re not mistaking the element to use against it or try other spells like force/gamble. I don´t remember it being particularly difficult except for getting rid of the minions to lower its GC.
As for slot seeds, i have distributed them equally more or less although i suppose Kaim and Seth would be the most benefited.
I thought she looked really weird with her baggy pants, exposed cleavage and sandals. Her outfit from 30 years ago suited her much better and looked less ridiculous then what she wears now. Ming is still on top when it comes to awful clothing though.Nolan. said:Ming's is just plain stupid if you ask me. I mean I can't remember seeing any queen type character in a game with open brest tight fitting top, never mind the half lulu skirt thing she has going on at the bottom. Short skirts and knee high boots maybe, but you can't take much interest in the character after that. Also the whole outfit just makes her look disproportionate. As for Sarah guess i'm probably in the minority here but I really like her design. All of the immortals seem almost like they have dressed from their favourite period. The only thing I probably don't like about it is the sandals...

I do find it funny that you are complaining about such design yet sport a No More Heroes avatar (which features some of the least interesting level design I've seen in a long time). The sewers in Lost Odyssey were significantly more interesting (from a design point) than ANY stage in No More Heroes (which basically sticks to squared off mazes based on somewhat realistic locales).

I'm not actually doing that at all.silenttwn said:Do we really need to derail this thread into a No More Heroes debate so you can satisfy the need to push your agenda? Cuz that's what you're doing here.

But I will say, if I didn't go to Khent right away before going to Gohtza, can I now never go there? It's not on the map no 'mo for some reason.

If you don't go before then you will miss out on a quest and a really nice item.
