Clearly the news of the day is Trotter is an Eagle again!
Ugh, the dirtiest fucker in the game.

At least Dawkins, the second dirtiest fucker in the game, is still gone.

Yes, they are both worse than Flozell. Probably worse than Rodney Harrison.

Chiefs trade Tyler Thigpen to the Dolphins.

Chad Henne era not starting after all?:lol

What kind of motivation would White offer Henne on the bench? If Henne gets hurt, White isn't ready to step in anyway.

The Axe-man returneth :D

(He's probably washed up, despite what Reid thinks).

I am thinking they weren't comfortable with the idea of Pat White being Chad's back-up. Tuna loves him some Chad Henne.

This. They were shit outta luck if Henne got injured. The only backup is Pat White, and let's be honest, Ronnie Brown at QB is a more appealing option than him.

EDIT: I would like to know who was the one calling the shots to draft White in the second round and gave Gibril Wilson a 27.5 million dollar contract. The anger needs a direction to focus. Ireland? Tuna? Someone step forward and claim these turds.

We're actually getting a draft pick for Tyler Thigpen! :lol :lol

You owe us 2 picks in the 10 draft from the 09 draft swap and another for the two meatbag linemen you traded for. Me thinks you're just getting your picks back.

He has absolutely no help on the line and Beason is the only other guy on defense that apparently gives a damn.

This team is a bad, bad shape all-around. I think this may be Fox's last year.

I agree completely on this being it for Fox unless he miraculously turns this thing around. Richardson has been very paitient but at the end of the day he wants a winner.

The defense minus Thomas Davis and Beason needs to be completely blown up. On offense there are some decent pieces in place (minus the Delhomme question mark) but I feel like our biggest failing is Jeff Davidson. Why on earth would you run the ball only 15 times when you have Williams and Stewart?! Last nights game made me so angry. So, so angry.

Fuck Peppers. If you're getting paid $16 mil for the year (and want to be paid as the highest defensive player in the game), you damn sure should be able to do better than 2 fucking tackles, help or no help. Peppers gained weight over the offseason and looks like a slow fatass doing nothing but bullrushing himself right out of the damn play or standing around when the play isn't to his side. I'll be glad to see his ass go. His whole career has been feast or famine, but you can't devote 20% of your cap to a guy like that. I'd much rather value consistent production, even if it means we don't get to see his amazing INTs or sack-strips (which he hasn't been doing much in the last few seasons anyway). I say if he has another shit game we bench him and put in Charles Johnson. He's actually played really well this year and clearly wants to be here.

On that note, since we have no fucking DTs, why don't we just push a bigger DE in at DT? Instead of having Nick Hayden and whatever other trash is there at DT, I think putting a better overall player on the line is a smarter strategy. Why haven't we seen a Brayton/Lewis/Johnson/Peppers line out there yet? Clearly our secondary has trouble adjusting to this Tampa Two scheme, so we need to be creative and generate a pass rush to help them out.

This past offseason was one of the worst I've seen in all my times as a Panthers fan and it's going to set us back at least two years. Handing that extension to Delhomme, franchising Peppers, and trading our first rounder while adding nothing besides a revelation at corner (a 7th round pick, at that) has put us in this deep hole.

I think Favre might throw his first pick against the Packers. Their defense is good at at least one thing. o_o

[edit] Err, nvm, I forgot that ball that was tipped last week, I guess that was a int.

Colin Cowherd is on ESPN saying that getting your feet down is overrated. Has this toolbag ever even played catch with a football?

Seriously, can anyone walk up to ESPN and get a job? *Picks up phone* HI, ESPN? I want to host PTI today.

He was trying to knock the catch by that kid up in Minnesota on Sunday and how the announcers were making a big deal out of the fact that he got his feet down. He was like, "Seriously, everywhere you go, your feet are always down. I don't get why people are making a big deal out of it."

I really hope Colin Cowherd and Mike Greenberg meet one day adn just slap each other to death.

Hes almost as washed up as the Steelers defense

While it's technically true thus far, it's kind of funny hearing it from the fan of a team that has been washed up for the last 5 years.

I don't get the penis reference?

And I am very conflicted about the NE/BAL game. On one hand we need the Ravens to lose so we gain a game on them, but on the other hand ever fiber of my being is opposed to anything good happening to the Patriots.

It seems I will lose on that game no matter what happens. :(

By that logic you also win on that game no matter what happens.

Bill Simmons tweet said:
Delhomme had 3X as many pass attempts as D'Angelo Williams had carries. That's not a game plan, that's a suicide mission.

This is why I keep saying John Fox needs to go and he's the main reason they lost that playoff game. This is just ridiculously bad coaching.

Remember that scene in Superman Returns where the jetliner falls from space and Superman stops it right before it destroys the entire stadium?

Take away Superman and that is about the only way I can see humanity coming away a winner from tha tgame.

DET @ CHI - Good job Detroit. Now go back to losing.

Eh, they're currently ranked 8th overall. It's just that compared to their usual high standards, it seems terrible that the D is now almost like everyone else's.
Given up big leads in the fourth quarter two weeks in a row is what concerns me. And it isn't like we are giving up these TDs to a offensive juggernauts.

This will just make us appreciate Polamalu that much more.

No worries. He has been demoted to 5th receiver. Without injury he is not going to be getting any playing time in the near future.

And Polamalu is scheduled to come back for the Detroit game.
