Ohhhh hot! Video of PSP THUG 2.

Man this is first generation launch stuff too. Can't wait to see what gets pumped out of the PSP in 2-3 years.

Looks great! Seems on par with the console games, which are all superior looking to THPS3 (which started the series on PS2).

Just watched the trailer....

*masterbates furiously*

OK now that that's done, when is this bitch coming out??? THUG on go.....*DROOOOL*.

*JAW DROP THROUGH THE MUTHA FUCKIN FLOOR*

No it can't be. So beautiful...... So smooth....... PSP LET ME TOUCH YOU!

It scares me that some of the PSP launch titles are pwning the majority of PS2 launch games. I understand that PSP has less upside than the PS2 had, but still ... I'm REALLY impressed.

I'm pretty pissed they removed the video output though. They better make some sort of peripherial alternative :(

Holy God that looks nice.

I think what is even more impressive is the amount of moves he can do so quickly. I am comparable to that in THPS3 (last one I played) on the GC, but that's with a full sized controller. Impressive that a handheld can have controls responsive enough for that stuff.

Wow, that was awesome, quite awesome. This would be even sweeter with a feature Marconelly brought up in his thread earlier, if it's possible, about having custom songs and tracks put into games in the background. I really thought of that with the lack of music in the trailer. Felt so much like a clean slate. :P

Kinda stunning, really... The Tony Hawk games give me hand cramps, though, regardless of the control pad (haven't tried it on GC, but did on DC, PSX, PS2, Xbox). I wonder if PSP will be better or worse in this regard.

Am I the only idiot that bought THUG2 for the GBA thinking it would be fully 3D and look like its console counterpart?

Must be, that was the FIFTH GBA Tony Hawk game to look and play JUST like that.

Wow. Just... wow. Having something that looks this good on the go is awesome. If this is a launch title, it'll be my second buy-- after Ridge Racers.

2D games are one step closer to being oficially killed off :(

Serious - what kind of retarded comment is this? Just because a portable system can do phenomenal 3D graphics, doesn't mean the end of 2D. Darkstalkers for PSP does better looking 2D on a portable than anything before it.

Is this legit? Resolution of the screen area in that vid is something like 430x250, more or less. Even if they shrunk it a little compared to the actual feed, the aspect ratio is off...are they doing some sort of anamorphic squeeze for final game?

I'm trying to figure out why I Have no interest in this.
I bought the GBA Tony Hawk at launch...

Maybe because it looks just like the PS2 version?

Classic response. Why am I not surprised? :lol

Can't wait for IGN to get back to work next week hopefully we get some sweet new PSP THUG 2 vids. :D

Dayum, that video was pretty impressive. But it showed me again how much a suck at the Tony Hawk games.

I'm not interested in the game either - doesn't alter the fact that this is crazy looking for first-gen hand held software. They haven't even brought out the performance analyser yet.

it looks good. That doesn't mean I want to buy it.
Giga, nobody is expecting you to like any PSP game enough to buy it. It's getting redundant for you to keep saying it in these threads.

call me when they have mirra 3...

I wonder if Activision is actually gonna do something with Z-Axis. It's been awhile since we've seen a BMX game.

I don't think it'll have Mirra's name on it, though... unless their deal with The Condor has expired.

Looks great. I am really impressed.

Who is developing this? Vicarious Visions right? Will it support online play (or any kind of multiplayer)?

Wow, that's impressive. This looks as good as the console versions IMO (last TH game I played was THUG 1, THPS 3 before that).

Hated the Console Version of THUG2 after playing and beating it all. But this looks to have bigger levels maybe its just me? But damn do i hope this game is as smooth as that video cause if it is... PSP where are you? (gets out gold card)

Damn...I remember when I used to do 10 million combos in Tony Hawk 3 for PS2 and that was waaaaaaaaaaay before all of that extra on-foot shit they had. I was cracking 2-3 million in Tony Hawk 2. Never did more than 800k in Tony Hawk 1.

I was God in THPS3, I really was.

I don't care for Tony Hawk games but damn, this looks SWEET for PSP. like 1st or 2nd gen PS2 games. imagine what we'll be playing on PSP in a few years.

I smell troll poop.

No and here's why. I may get a PSP, I dont really need a long battery, so Im not trolling. I also say that because I read the more things that are going on, and new things, and complex things, the more battery it takes. This seems uber complex dude

Dam, from what i remember of THPS 3, hes doing some pretty intense moves there. Is it somehow easier to pull of tricks in the later games?

All we need is a better battery. That looks shit hot though, i could really see myself playing it on the way to work with my in ear-earphones.
